Lynne Spears Still Moving Forward with Book

Though Lynne Spears' parenting book has been postponed, the publishers announced today that she is still moving forward with the story. In addition, Thomas Nelson, Inc. is insisting that the book is not a manual on how to parent: It's a warning.

"From the onset, the media have inaccurately reported that Lynne Spears' book is a parenting book. I'm sure this helps fuel tabloid readership, but it's simply not true," said Michael S. Hyatt, president and CEO of Thomas Nelson. "Lynne's memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the toll it extracts from some who aspire to it. It will provide a much-needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities."

He added, "We believe in redemption. Therefore, we are standing by Lynne and her family during this difficult time."

Reports surfaced that the book was shelved following 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears' announcement that she was pregnant. It was originally slated for a 2008 release.

OK First of all you people need to realize that just because both of Lynn Spear’s daughter are having rough spots, doesnt make her a bad mom. MANY teens are getting prego and it has NOTHING to due with the way they were raised!!!! Some are raised in a religious family and still get prego. Kids have a way of “sneaking around” GOD NOWS WHAT YOUR KIDS ARE DOING BEHIND YOUR BACK. You dont know, so leave the lady alone it was her kids that did this, NOT HER

What a joke that she’s going ahead with the book. What IDIOTS,those that buy it. It’s all about money with Lynne, always has been. Now Jamie is getting 1 million for her baby’s pictures from OK magazine when it’s born.

How is it possible that these 2 young Spears’ women have access to millions of dollars and can’t purchase birth control????
I mean, REALLY! Does a drug have to be illegal for Britney to use it? Ugh!

I find it ridiculous that she’s writting a book, First of all why is a 16 YEAR OLD apt hunnting in the first place? I think she’s a good mom may be but she sells her children for money I think she needs to read a book herself I think its possible to get pregnent at 16 What was I doing at the age? I dont think its right for people to critizes her in this time of matter

This woman know nothing about being a parent. So why is she going ahead with the book. It is all about the money, she is going to be paid and nothing else.

That woman should not be writing a book period. She can’t control her kids. Trash family. Alot of young girls looked upon Jamie lynn as a role model. I know some parents wont’ let them watch the show.

Why is she being allowed to publish a parenting book. She obviously can’t spell the word “chaperone”.
