First of all my main point is that everyone makes mistakes. End of story. It just so happens that celebrities make them too no matter how perfect we want to believe they are. Personally, I think it was a bad choice to do this at such a young age, however I believe she is doing the right thing not getting an abortion. That is very good decision on her part. It could have been worse. She could have gotten pregnant and then taken an unlived life. No she’s going to go through with parenthood and stick it out. Good for her! I’m not saying I agree with teen pregnancy, at all. But as I said before, EVERYONE makes mistakes and bad decisions in life. Just look at Vanessa Hudgens with her photos online! That was a big mistake as well. Also, jamie has also struck me as more responsible as her sister. This is why I was so shocked when I found out. The only girls that would have shocked me more would be miley cyrus or emma roberts. But all in all I think she will be an overall better mother than her sister. It’s difficult to live in the shadow of Britney who has messed up big time on numerous occasions. All jamie hears from people are..”Oh here we go, another screw up.” Comments like that don’t help her situation! Honestly, I know this is just a TV series, but look at gilmore girls! Loralie and Rory aren’t screw ups! Their each other’s best friends! Everybody needs to stop acting like this is so normal and beautiful for a 16-year-old to be pregnant!!!! I dont care how much money you have, 16 is too young for a baby and you have to think about the innocent little life thats being brought into this. I cant believe her mom let this child rapist boyfriend live with her, yes they should cancel her show what a bad influence….I wouldn’t let my daughter watch it. Everyone makes mistakes. All she can do is face the reality. She did grown up stuff, now she should be grown up enough to face it. i think that its jamie’s choice to do whatever she does. But there is more of a chance that she would have an abortion because of the stress and pressure of the media surrounding her, and that isnt fair to the baby.

The only upside to situation is that she is lucky enough to be financially sound at such a young age. Honestly I think she should be put in a “real world” teen pregnancy situation. Jamie Lynn should have known that and taken precautions against it. she should have never allowed herself to be put in this situation in the first place, especially with whats going on with her sister. it not only gives her a bad name but her family as well. when regular teens get pregnant its a sad affair, but its even worse for one that is in hollywood.

There are lots of young women that have kids in their teens. Does that mean their parents are going to raise them? No.Does that mean they are not going to be good parents themselves? No. Is this tragic? No. Mass casualties are tragic, pregnancies are not. Sometimes crap happens, you can only learn from it. This does not mean that she will end up like her sister. Should she get married? That is for only her and her boyfriend to decide. Marriage because of children and not for love will only end up in divorce. Should she be taken off TV? I’m not sure, however, maybe nickelodeon should create a show about teen parents and teen pregnancies to show that it is not a walk in the park. To show others that kids are hard to take care of and that it is hard to juggle school, friends, and a child all at once.Show how hard things can be so that others might learn from this situation, instead of repeating it. Best of luck to her. Do your best and love your child, keep looking forward. Thats about all you can do. Keep in mind it’s not easy, but what doesn’t kill us just makes us stronger.
