Could Jamie Lynn's baby daddy be in trouble with the law?

That's the question being raised on the Internet following the news that Jamie Lynn, 16, is pregnant with boyfriend Casey Aldridge's child. Aldridge is reported to be 18 or 19, and depending on the state, he could face criminal prosecution.

In Louisiana, it is illegal to have sex "with consent between someone age 19 or older and someone between age 12 and 17." If he was under 19, then he might be charged with a misdemeanor.

But a spokesperson from the local sheriff's department in Kentwood, Louisiana, has said that no complaint has been filed in the case and "no criminal investigation is currently underway."
