Judge Won't Change Brit's Custody Agreement

Britney Spears' custody fight with Kevin Federline is far from over.

Their lawyers met in a closed courtroom today, but the court commissioner made no changes to their current custody agreement. Their next scheduled hearing has been postponed until February.

Today's hearing was called after Britney called in sick to her court-ordered deposition last week, but was then spotted cruising around L.A. later that night.

K-Fed has temporary custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James. Brit is allowed two visits per week and one overnight, and they must all be supervised by a court-appointed monitor.

Simon Cowell Denies Throwing a Fit at Photoshoot

Simon Cowell is being ripped in Internet reports for allegedly throwing a diva-like fit and canceling on an "American Idol" publicity photoshoot at the last minute. The shoot cost $50,000.

But "Extra" went straight to the source, and the TV mogul told us he was actually sick. Simon was laid up for four days and didn't pull a "Britney-type hissy fit," adding, "For the first time in six years, I called in sick."

Not only did he have to cancel the photo shoot, he was unable to attend a press conference for his hit show, "The X Factor," as well.

Hasselhoff and Ex Reach Custody Agreement

David Hasselhoff and his ex-wife Pamela Bach have reached a custody agreement in their bitter divorce battle. The two will share equal custody of their two daughters.

"David is pleased to have the matter behind him," Hasselhoff’s lawyer said today. "He wants to move on with his life."

Hasselhoff, 55, and Bach, 44, also reached a financial agreement on their post-divorce issues, a settlement that was months in the making.

The Hoff’s lawyer said that the improved relationship between the exes led to the revised custody arrangement. Hasselhoff has had sole legal and primary custody of their teenage daughters since June.

Marie Osmond is opening up to “Extra” like never before, going on the record about rumors that she’s set for an all-new talk show and explaining her painful divorce.

Her oldest son, Steve, sat down with the “Dancing with the Stars” beauty to discuss in depth how her 20-year marriage to husband Brian Blosil came to an end.

“I don’t believe divorce is the solution for an unhappy marriage,” Marie told Steve about their decision to split, “but I do think sometimes it's the answer when you ask questions like, ‘Am I being the best person I can be?’…and in those situations, I think it’s the right choice.”

Said Steve, “She is a happier mother, and you’re an astonishing woman.”

Is Jennifer Love Hewitt Pregnant?

Is Jennifer Love Hewitt pregnant?

Rumors are swirling that a baby is behind her fuller figure.

Last week, at the same time that she announced her engagement to boyfriend Ross McCall, the "Ghost Whisperer" star came under fire when she was pictured in a bikini looking bustier than she has previously appeared.

Now several web sites are reporting that Jennifer, 28, is actually expecting her first child with Ross, 32, and was "shocked" to find out.

But those reports are false: Her rep tells "Extra," "Jennifer is not pregnant."

Brad Pitt for Senator? 'Not a Chance'

Brad Pitt: Actor, humanitarian and politician?

"Not a chance," Brad tells Newsweek about rumors that he'll run for office. "The same reason I won't direct. I don't think it's my place. Besides, you can create acts of social disobedience from the outside."

Brad, who turns 44 today, sparked rumors that he's looking at a career in politics after debuting his Make It Right foundation, which aims to build 150 homes in Hurricane Katrina-ravaged New Orleans. Not only has he said that acting is "less a focus" now, but he has also been vocal about how he thinks the government should help the Big Easy.

"I think it should be one of the major issues of the upcoming campaign," Brad says. "This is a proving ground for so many issues: education, health reform, poverty level, unemployment, violence that comes from these conditions."

WGA Writes Off Globes, Oscars

It's final: The Writers Guild of America won't allow its members to write for the Golden Globes or the Academy Awards, it was announced today.

The Globes will still air Jan. 13, but many stars are expected to honor the strike and refuse to cross the picket lines. And without writers, there won't be much witty banter for the stars.

Last week, Globe nominee Katherine Heigl told "Extra" that she might not show up at the ceremony - but she's not thrilled about the decision.

"We can’t cross the picket lines, which is going to be very disappointing," she said. "But I am totally blaming the studios."

Leno, O'Brien Returning to Work in January

The WGA strike is still on, but some of your favorite shows are returning to television.

Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien will return Jan. 2 with fresh episodes after two months of repeats, the network said Monday. However, the "Tonight" show and "Late Night" won't have writers supplying jokes.

David Letterman may have the same deal in the works. The union representing striking writers says it might be willing to negotiate deals with individual production companies, including Letterman's Worldwide Pants.

"There are hundreds of people who will be able to return to work as a result of Jay's and Conan's decision," said Rick Ludwin, executive vice president, late night and primetime series for NBC. Ludwin notes that both Jay and Conan have supported their writers during the strike.

In fact, on Pam's website, she writes, "We're working things out."

Pam, 40, sought a claim for dissolution of marriage and cited irreconcilable differences. The pair had been married for just two months.

Dan Fogelberg Passes Away, Leaves Letter to Fans

Music legend Dan Fogelberg has lost his battle with prostate cancer. The famed singer passed away at his home in Maine at just 56 years old.

The Grammy-nominated artist, who sold more than 15 million records, was diagnosed with an advanced case of prostate cancer in 2004. Just a few months later, the cancer had already spread to his bones. He died Sunday, his wife of five years, Jean, at his side.

Today, “Extra” has the message Dan left behind for every man.

On his website , Dan writes:

“To each and every man....

“I cannot encourage you strongly enough to get a DRE (Digital Rectal Exam) and a PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) test EVERY YEAR.

“The medical community suggests this for men over 50, but men with a family history of prostate cancer should start getting tested at age 40.
