What Will Jamie Lynn's Pregnancy Mean for Her Show?

Jamie Lynn Spears has legions of fans who tune in to watch her grow up on Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101."

Now will they have to watch her growing baby bump?

While Nickelodeon released a statement saying "Our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being," questions are already being raised about the future of her popular show.

"Zoey 101" is scheduled to finish out its third season on Jan. 4. In the cliffhanger episode, Jamie Lynn's character must decide whether to leave her boarding school in California to join her parents in London.

The show is scheduled to resume in February. Filming on the fourth season has already been completed.

Did Kevin Know Before Britney?

Britney Spears was blindsided by the news that her 16-year-old sister was pregnant. Last night after a shopping trip - hours after Jamie Lynn made the announcement - Brit appeared oblivious to the news.

But did Kevin Federline know about Jamie Lynn's pregnancy before Britney did?

Page Six is claiming that a family insider told them Kevin was clued in by Britney's mom Lynne earlier this week because "Lynne wanted Kevin to be prepared when Britney found out."

The "insider" adds, "Kevin is sure Britney will flip out and blame her mom and dad."

People's Choice Awards Revamped

The People's Choice Awards ceremony is being revamped in the midst of the writers strike.

As "Extra" first reported, plans to televise some form of the show on CBS on Jan. 8 are scheduled but no press is allowed and no red carpet.

Queen Latifah will act as "host" for the pre-recorded show, which will include acceptance speeches from winners via video. Winners will also answer questions emailed by fans, and there will be no live audience.

The ceremony is the first to be affected by the WGA strike.

"Obviously, we realized there are pressing issues facing the entertainment industry," said show spokeswoman Jeannie Tharrington. "Out of respect for all the people involved, we decided we would use this opportunity to use a new format."

Michael Lohan Gives New Yorkers a Double Take as Joseph

New Yorkers did a double take last night when they came upon a street-scene Nativity recreation in Times Square - and saw Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael playing Joseph.

The ex-con, who recently got out of prison and reconciled with Lindsay, was decked out in full costume to gaze upon a baby Jesus doll. He spent most of the night sitting in hay alongside fellow actors during the production.

So will Michael be spending Christmas with his famously rehabbed daughter?

"All of my children, not just Lindsay," Michael said. "I sure hope so. I bought a lot of presents for them!"

Jamie Lynn Had Denied She Had a Serious Boyfriend

Just weeks before she told her mom that she was pregnant, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears told the Associated Press that she didn't have a serious boyfriend.

"I kind of just keep my options open," she said in an interview conducted shortly before Thanksgiving. "I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends."

Her 19-year-old boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, is the father.

In the same interview, the "Zoey 101" star also said she wants to stay in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisana.

"It's where I grew up," she said. "I want to stay here."

When Jamie Lynn confirmed the pregnancy to OK! magazine, she also hinted that she would raise the baby in Louisiana.

Lynne Spears' Parenting Book Postponed

Lynne Spears' upcoming parenting book has been postponed.

A spokesperson for publisher Thomas Nelson said, "The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not canceled."

The book, originally slated for a 2008 release, was put on hold last week. Yesterday, news broke that Lynne's 16-year-old daughter Jamie Lynn was pregnant.

Publishers' Weekly described the book as "Lynne Spears's personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community." The book was slated for a 2008 release.

Queen Latifah is the new spokeswoman for Jenny Craig.

"We officially confirm that Queen Latifah will join the Jenny Craig program in January," Scott Parker, Jenny Craig's Vice President of Marketing, told "Extra." "We are thrilled to have Queen Latifah support our mission of improving health by taking her first step toward achieving a more healthful lifestyle."

He added, "Queen Latifah joins forces with Jenny Craig to communicate the importance of how small lifestyle changes, in the areas of diet and exercise, can have positive effects on overall health."

Latifah, real name Dana Owens, has been vocal about not getting involved in the Hollywood image game.

In July, the "Hairspray" star, 37, told "Extra," "I lose weight when I feel like it. If the proportion size gets too big and the gym gets too infrequent then I sort of try and balance it back out. I never try to lose weight for someone else."

No Settlement for Hasselhoff After All?

As reports circulate that David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach have reached a divorce settlement, is their battle finally over?

A rep for Bach told "Extra," "Despite published reports, a settlement has not been reached nor finalized. Once David returns from vacation and elects to attend the next scheduled meeting -- which to date, he has not been present at any -- a settlement may be reached."

Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant

Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn is pregnant.

Jamie Lynn, 16, confirms the pregnancy to OK! magazine and says that she's "shocked." She is 12 weeks along.

According to the magazine, the father of the baby is Jamie Lynn's longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, 19.

She says she didn't tell anyone about the pregnancy for two weeks, then finally broke the news to her mother, Lynne, before Thanksgiving.

Jamie Lynn is best known for starring in the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101." Last year, she won a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for best Female TV Star and best TV Female Actress.

In a statement to "Extra," Nickelodeon officials said, "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well-being."

Now Jamie Lynn has a message to her young fans about premarital sex.

"I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she tells the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in."
