Could Oscar-winner Halle Berry be taking on a new role as the Queen of Soul?

Reports say Aretha Franklin is considering the pregnant beauty to portray her in the movie version of her life.

Also on Aretha's wishlist: Jennifer Hudson and fellow "Idol" alum Fantasia, who played Aretha on the NBC show "American Dreams."

Why the hell would she want halle to portray her??? Re Re is trippin lol. She should definitely pick J Hud because she would do good with the acting and singing. I love Halle but this would not be a good part for her, doubt she would want to put on that weight
