Britney To Star in New Film?

The producers of a new film want Britney Spears to sign on for a starring role.

"Memoirs of a Medicated Child" stars Andy Dick and is currently in pre-production.

"Extra" has received the following statement from Tommy Parker, the director and producer of the film: "'Memoirs of a Medicated Child" is in pre-production, the film is featuring Andy Dick, Ross Tyler, Peter Iacangelo, Adam Ropp just to name a few.

"As far as the others chosen, there are many negotiations in place. Nothing is said and done until the ink is dry. We would gratefully welcome Ms. Spears aboard! Tommy Parker and crew feel that she would be a great asset to the film. She is very talented young woman and look forward to working with her."

She would be great in this film if she is indeed playing this role.

Britney is a great dramatic actress, I don’t care if people disagree with me. Her little dramatic parts in Crossroads showed she had depth, especially the crying scenes.

I can’t wait if this is true.

OMG she can’t sing what are you crazy!! LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE! There are tons of people like me that are concerned for her well being and it is people like you and the paparazzi that are making her like this. JUST LEAVE HER ALONE!!

That’s frickin crazy. britney spears? man… well at least this’ll boost her career. hopefully she can act better than she can sing otherwise Tommy’s screwed, along with the entire cast, and any ppl who actually pay to see the movie. ooh this better be good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, I think that Ms. Spears would be a great asset to any film too, especially after what this woman has had to live through the past year. I feel the press has treated this woman terrible, and that the way she has stood up to the press, and handled herself has been awesome. A million kudos’s to Miss Spears and Mr.Parker,, for using such good, professional judgement.

I was appalled at the interview between Jason Bateman and the teenage blonde bimbo on 12/28. I’m not a prude, but I could not believe this chick was talking about sexual positions (Including doggy style-ha) on network TV. A REAL CLASSY BROAD
