Since they’d announced Helio as the winner on The View 2 hours before the voting closed it would seem that the fix was in and Marie stopped playing. She went home to spend time with her family before going on tour. The video of the early announcement is on Utube. Marie didn’t need to be blindsided again with a “How do you feel about the evidence that the noting wasn’t real?” or “Was that your rehab kid there at the show?”

I met Marie at a doll signing at the MGM in Las Vegas a few years back and I can tell you she is the real thing. She was warm and gracious took time to talk and take pictures. She was like meeting an old friend.She may have made time had she won because it may have been in her contract and the proper thing to do for her fans but since she didn’t win she has every right to go back and spend time with her family.She has more than just FAN obligations she has a beautiful family.

Marie gave up spending Thanksgiving with her family so her & Jonathon could practice for the upcoming dance. Marie has kept as many commitments as she can keep. Also as Carol stated that she is exhausted & right now, her family needs her.

Sounds like Renee has to be negative about something- Marie is not the sore loser YOU make her out to be- she has prior commitments and family she wants to be with- anyone against her bailing out of the TV appearance sounds like they are anti- family. Or maybe Renee does not have loving family like Marie has and so goes negativity? Jealousy will get you no where, Renee.
Marie has a life- a family- I suggest you get one, too.
Marie is a winner, no matter the results of Dancing with the stars. The only sore losers are the ones who write negative stuff about others to make themselves look better.

I think Marie handled herself just fine. Especially after what Max said about her. I lost all respect for him. She was so much fun to watch regardless of her position in the show. I didn’t think she was the best dancer but what can you do? She had a big fan base. That has been the reality of this show from the very first season. I definitely would not say she is a sore loser. And her family means everything to her. And that is they way it should be. Family first. You go Marie!!!!!

My guess would be she is a sore loser. I bet she would not have cancelled any appearances if she had won!
