Usher and his wife, Tameka, are the proud parents of a baby boy, his rep confirmed.

"We are so happy and proud of our beautiful son," the couple said in a statement. "What a blessing!"

According to the statement, little Usher Raymond V was born in Atlanta, Ga. at 9:55 p.m., and weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz.

In September, Usher told "Extra," “I’m really looking forward to that moment in my life where I meet that little man, that little boy."

The music superstar, 29, and Tameka, 36, got hitched in a civil ceremony on Aug. 3. They announced the pregnancy in June.
