I cannot believe that KEITH LEWIS is still producing the
Miss California Pageant. After the fiasco that occurred he should crawl under rock and hide. How embarrassing and how low. He has been e-mailing the girls to return and has even offered them discounts. He sounds very desperate and pathetic. He is even telling the girls to pick your their titles. So I guess I can say I am from Oakland when I am really from San Diego. As a concerned Californian my advise to you all who want to compete, be careful and watch out for Keith. He is a liar and probably has his winner already. I noticed that the last 3 winners under Keith’s direction competed multiple times. In other words, you have to return numerous times to be considered to win. First time runners you will have no chance. I think I figured it out. You see, if you keep on retuning you have invested thousands of dollars in K2 Productions. Therefore, you are a potential winner and a candidate for the Morgan Agency belonging to Keith Lewis.

We wanted to remind you that if you are competing for MISS CALIFORNIA USA® or MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA® 2009, the deadline is approaching for discounted rates on entry fees for our returning contestants!!! Executive producer Keith Lewis worked very hard to lower our state franchise fees so we in turn could lower your entry fee. The Miss Universe Organization charges each state a very large fee for the rights to independently produce each show on the state level. They set franchise fees based on state population; therefore because we live in California naturally we are charged more than any other state.
In order to show our appreciation for our dedicated and memorable group of recent state delegates from the 2005, 2006, and 2007 pageants, K2 Productions is offering a discounted rate of $950 until February 15, 2008.

calling back girls from three years ago when he had
just started being director of the pageant .
How PATHETIC is that does he think they will come

If RAQUEL BEEZLEY is very proud to be from BARSTOW
why did she or going to pack up her bags and leave it behind and move to LOS ANGELES . I would think
BARSTOW would have semi good nutritionist, personal trainers, walking coaches, Oh ya and pepole who (spoake well) I mean speak well . Oh well I guess not.
And one more thing MISS USA is not a fifteen round boxing match that you must train for three months.
She should be honest and say she just want’s to leave
BARSTOW.

I read what keith lewis sent out to eveyone . That he
will be takeing eveyone’s calls and returning them. (NOT) We have been trying to speak to him and now
they tell us he is not available .

If you expect me to believe that most of the judges wanted RAQUEL to win . I am
totaly ashemed and dissapointed at the
judges. Lets face it she looks and speaks

I also was thair at the crowning . And the crowning
was not a mistake . why is it that raquel will relocate
to Los Angeles were they will put her thru a nutrition
coach, a walking coach, a Speech coach, among other
things. AND SHE REALLY NEEDS THE WORK.
You don’t make a mistake like this in a pageant this
size come on vounteer acount person.

After reading what Keith Lewis wrote, I am stunned and disgusted. I cannot beleive he is trying to get girls back in by giving them discounts on the fees. He is recalling girls from 2 to 3 years ago. How pathetic is that!! He claims that next year will be the best year ever. How is that possible? Who is stupid enough to get involved with an organization that is so incompetant. He claims honestly and doing the right thing? Well, why hasn’t he. He said many times that he would re-sign. Even Ellen Degeneres mentioned that on her show when Christina was her guest. Why is he still working on this. Where is Donald to fire him. I think with all this fiasco who will ever trust this pageant again. I will feel sorry for any girl that joins next year. This pageant is unfair and obviously fixed!! Ladies, there are other ways you can shine. Don’t waste your money and time with this. If you want to get into modeling, get an agent. At least you know he will represent you well. The pageant world has fallen and no longer viewed with respect and dignity and that is preety sad.

Hey I want in on this. All I got was a crown, sash and rehab! I want a new car, a new pair of Gucci shoes and of course a new nose. Well I mean you all no why! Go Trump!

We have had a bit too much excitement over the last few weeks for my taste but the character of anyone is built not by the mistakes they may be part of but in the way they handle those mistakes. I have been open, honest and as timely as I could, given the complexity of working in a large organization and trying to maneuver in un-chartered waters. For me, I have a favorite saying which is when I knew better – I did better. This was a first. I learned a great deal and god forbid if I was ever faced with something like this again, I would put that knowledge to good use. But I will never regret being truthful in spite of whatever personal of professional criticism may follow. How can I expect you all to be the role models I aspire for you if I am unwilling to do the same? That doesn’t excuse the situation or diminish any feelings that may have come from it but it is what it is, so to say. I would love to speak with anyone who has issue with the event, outcome or our role personally because I believe in truth and in being accountable. I suspect we let each of you down and for that I am sorry I assure you that I am available if you want to talk. We have been taking every call, returning every e-mail and the office is steadfast in our commitment to remain proactive. . And I am glad to say, that a number of the calls we have had were very complimentary. I appreciate all the feedback.

For now, I am reviewing our event and trying to formulate how to move forward next year to make sure it is better. For me, I hope to expand what works, eliminate what doesn’t and fine tune the overall experience to make it as positive as it possible can be. Part of that is understanding what you want and giving it to you but the competition part is challenging. It is difficult to not be disappointed unless you are the one who goes home wearing the crown or in this year’s case, even that didn’t provide solace. But you all need to really understand the saying different night, different girl. You can not blame yourself or me for the outcome. You must enjoy the process or reconsider your involvement. Some things will work, others must be changed but at the end of the day, my commitment is to provide you with a red carpet experience you all will be proud of. I believe in the organization and the opportunity we provide our participants. I also believe that we owe it to you to deliver on our commitment. With that in mind, this year did not live up to my expectations. I have worked over the last few weeks with MUO in order to offer you an unparallel discount should you decide to return next year. I think some people think running this event is a money making venture. But the realities are that expenses have exceeded revenue each year and I am yet to be compensated for even my time. A large portion of your entry fees go directly to MUO and are not able to offset the operating costs but I have received permission to discount all returning participants from the 2005, 2006, and the 2007 events for $950 through 2/15. Think of it as Holiday Cheer with a Valentine deadline. I hope you all understand that this is a huge leap and I appreciate the MUO working with us to provide it to you, I can tell you one thing, next year will be our best year ever. I am bringing out all the stops and I hope you will be there to enjoy them with me. Happy Holidays and May you all be healthy and happy in the New Year.
