Hi, I am a forty year old who is almost always mistaken for one in twenties. Modeling has always been my love and my dream. I feel I have a lot to offer the modeling industry because of my positive attitude, great smile and talent that seems to amaze those who think forty doesnt still bring youth and energy, well I am here to prove that you can be even better after forty as long as you take care of yourself and give a hundred percent.

I am 55 now. I sent in a few pictures back in 2006. I thought they were great pictures of me. I compared them to what Wilhelmina was picking out. Since then, I have lost track of when they have their contest, until today 7-30-08. Maybe I will enter again in 2009.

I too entered, twice, I am about to be 59, and told I look early 40’s - size 2, dress high fashion, but absolutely my age! I also heard nothing, and that is my point, if us ladies do not make the cut, it would be a “great service” to be told why; especially if we are serious about starting a second career..the tips would be so valuable.

Women over 40 are just as beautiful as say the women in their 20’s or 30’s.

What about those of us in our upper 30’s? We get left out all the time! I’m 38 yrs old and I’d love to try the model thing ;or better yet do a talent show for us older ladies who have let our dreams fall by the wayside!
