Jessica Simpson: ‘I’m In a Really Good Place’

Jessica Simpson has had her share of heartbreak. Now the single stunner is telling “Extra” that she’s ready for love – and she has a good idea of where to find it!

“I think Boston has cute boys,” Jessica revealed to “Extra.” “I need a Boston man. A Boston man is closest to a Southern man, I believe.”

The Texas-born beauty is in the dating world again since her relationship with John Mayer ended in May. Now she’s ready to open up about her feelings on the new album she’s about to record.

“I can’t wait to share my heart with the world,” Jessica told “Extra” backstage at Macy’s in New York, where she launched her latest fashion line. “The fun, the good, the bad, the happy, the sad. You know, I’m comfortable letting people in now. I’m in a really good place.”

Jessica’s good times continue with another hosting appearance on “The View” on Nov. 15. She revealed that the first time she hosted the show, she was left speechless.

“I had to interview Angelina Jolie and I was just really, really starstruck,” she confessed. “I was just in awe of her beauty.”

Jessica also just wrapped shooting “Major Movie Star,” in which the blonde bombshell enlists in the Army. To prepare for the role, Jessica, 25, actually went through boot camp.

“I really found out a lot about myself and gained a lot of confidence,” Jessica said. “It’s really humbling.”

Jessica does not know what she wants. This is evidenced by her jumping from music to movies to selling clothes, hair extensions, etc…. And frankly, she hasn’t been that successful in any of them. Her CD bombed, you know she’ll get a RAZZIE award for her god-awful movies, and she’ll never be a great designer or innovator like Gwen Steffani. As for men, how much time has she actually spent in Boston? She needs to figure HERSELF out before she tries to have a relationship.

Hey Jess:

If you want to date a Boston man you have to understand our true passion. Think Red Sox and Pats and Celts and Bruins.

And I expect you love shoes. I develop them for a major basketball shoe company and would be happy to build a special pair just for you.

You can contact me with the email address I gave Extra.

I love Jessica Simpson!
I find here to be such a good, positive person.
She is loving, courageous and she makes people feel good.
She is also very generous often giving away free DVD’s with her CDS!!!
I did get to meet her once. Here is an extremely powerful story about how I got to meet her right after I saw the movie The Secret.
I know that Jess lives The Secret so I find her to be very inspirational to me. Here’s the incredible story that I highly believe I’m meant to share with the world to inspire the world: (You have my permission to publish it: Colleen Asselin 38 East Dunstable rd, Nashua, NH 03060 Phone: 978-835-2935, email- CJAsselin@comcast.net) Attached are photos.

Well I went to a Positive Thinker’s League Meeting for the first time at The Holistic Self Care Center and it was the first time I saw the movie, The Secret.
I was so excited because I have read a lot of books about this kind of stuff (the power of your mind and energy), but now it was in movie form for the whole world to see. The owner of the center says, “Ok, now we are going to meet up again next month and you let us know what you attracted into your life. It can be as small as a cup of coffee or as big as a million dollars.” I said to myself, “I already believe this stuff works and I’ve used in my life, but I never put it way out there…..well now…..I’ll put it out there…… I’m hanging out with Jessica Simpson!” And within one month, by the time we met up again for the Positive Thinker’s League I had indeed hung out with Jessica Simpson and I had the pictures to prove it. What I did was- I went home and made a Vision Book and the first page was dedicated to GRATITUDE. I was so thankful to God for every single thing in my life and I tried encompassing that in a collage type page. The next page was dedicated to my husband and being thankful for him and keeping us connected. Now the third page….I said to myself, lets see if this REALLY works…..I got a few pictures of Jessica Simpson and dedicated that page to hanging out and connecting with her. And soon after, I had checked out her website and there was this link to apply to be in a ProActiv commercial with her. I sent my email with a couple of pictures and they called me about 1 hour right after I sent the email. They chose me and 12 other ladies to film us sitting around her and asking her questions and she was to answer them and sometimes bring Proactiv into it. They paid for the whole trip, flight and hotel and expenses. Also I told them that I do not use ProActiv and they said, “That’s ok, we like your energy.” I was the only one out of us 13 ladies chosen from all around the country that did not use Proactiv. (The whole thing was done very naturally and honestly and it was unscripted.) And all of this happened before the 2nd Positive Thinker’s League as so I could tell everyone what I attracted into my life! :)
Oh and the commercial recently showed (and you can still catch it on tv), however they only put 1 second of our filming into it where you can see any of us ladies who was chosen for the filming. Literally 1 second and only a couple of us are in it and recognizable.
I am one of those that are recongnizable in the commercial! I’m in it for a fraction of a second, however I am there and you see me hugging Jessica! One of my most favorite/memorable moments of my life….ON TV!!! :) How cool?!

The whole experience was so awesome!!!!
Jessica is even more beautiful in person :)

Here is a poem I wrote about her that expresses how I see her. :)

Jessica Simpson

By Colleen Asselin

Her Beauty is within

She shares it with the world

The way she loves so openly

Is something for us all to see

She is a pathway to the Lord

What I’ve learned about sibling love

Is to cherish the greatest gift

from up above

“I love her more than I love myself”

Is what she said to me

How beautiful life could be

If more people were like she

Her Beauty is within

She shares it with the world

The way she loves so openly

Is something for us all to see

She is a pathway to the Lord

No need to look with jealousy

You are just as beautiful as she

Start to show it, start to know it

“Love can move mountains”

Is what she said to me

How beautiful life could be

If more people were like she.

I have great pictures to send you too.

Oh, boy. May I suggest anger management classes? That can be your Chrismas present. HEHE!

At least the girl is attempting to do something besides become a trainwreck. I can’t speak for her (she could REALLY goof up), and I can’t speak for you (you probably WILL goof up). But I can say this; if you’re willing to take a step in the right direction and be SERIOUS about it, then what’s to stop ya? Angry comments? Death threats? Wastless crap by haters?

I rest my case.
