Holly Robinson Peete on Donda West: 'I'm Going to Miss Seeing Her and Kanye Together'

Actress Holly Robinson Peete spoke to Mom•Logic about the sudden loss of her friend, Donda West, who died last week following a cosmetic surgical procedure.

Peete first met West, who managed her son Kanye’s career, at a record industry function two years ago.

“Donda was one of those women that walked in a room and just lit it up … just a mega-kilowatt smile,” Peete said. “Immediately I was drawn to her as someone who was just so magnetically special—I just had an instant connection with her.”

“I’m going to miss her,” she added. “I’m going to miss her smile. I’m going to miss her integrity … and I’m going to miss seeing her and Kanye together.”

Holly, won the Appretist with Donald Trump, hands down. It, was I feel sorry for myself with Bret and he used it to the helt. Telling everyone, he’d take the win anyway he could get it. Sorry for him or not. He had come to win. Isn’t that just like a man?

My heart goes out to the West family, espically Kanye. I can’t imagine the pain he is going through at this moment, he lost not only his mother but his bestfriend, and his biggest fan. She was there during the moments where only a parent can understand and be the support you need in life. It was a shock to me when I heard of her death, my prayers go out to the West family, that God can will help them get through this trying time.

My sympathy goes out to the West family in their time of bereavement. It was a great shock to have heard the news. Donda has been the center of my eyes, with blessing us with such a talented son. God takes care of his own and he will take care of Kanye and Donda. Angels are being recruit everysecond of the day and an angel has gone home. Lets all pray for Kanye and helping him to keep the strength.
