I also had surgery by Dr. Adams, and he was supposed to fix my belly button two months after the surgery which was in March of 2004 because it was so awful. When I went to the Euclid Outpatient surgery center to have my belly button repaired he was yelling at the receptionist and then proceeded to yell at me because I wasn’t completing the paperwork fast enough so that he could preform the surgery because he had other patients to see. I was there on time for the surgery, I don’t know what caused him to react like that towards a patient. He acted as if he didn’t care. I was so upset I told him to forget the surgery because I didn’t want him working on me after that and I left. I never received a call from them. It has been almost 3 years, and I have never complained to the Euclid Cosmetic Surgery Center. I still have a belly button that is awful you can’t even stick a q-tip in it, and what is really sad is that I was going to have my surgery by another physician in that office, but they told me that I was a good candidate to have surgery by Dr. Adams from the Discovery channel but I would have to pay a little more for his services. So I did, and know I am screwed because I am not the type of person that will sue someone…..

BUT I DON’T SHY AWAY FROM BULLIES AND HE FIGURED THAT OUT RIGHT AWAY WHEN HE TRIED TO YELL AT ME AND KNEW IT WAS BEST TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT. EMMA IS NOT UPSET BECAUSE THINGS WENT WRONG. SHE IS UPSET BECAUSE OF THE WAY ADAMS TREATED HER AND HIS LACK OF CONCERN FOR HER HEALTH AND HIS LACK OF EMPATHY TO HER PAIN. NOBODY DESERVES TO BE TREATED THAT WAY… NOW, DOES IT REALLY MATTER WEATHER THE SURGERY WAS ELECTIVE OR NECESSARY?….LAST I HEARD ALL DOCTORS TOOK THE SAME HIPPOCRATIC OATH AND EVERY PATIENT WEATHER WE ARE HAVING ELECTIVE SURGERY OR A NECESSARY ONE SHOULD BE TREATED WITH THE SAME CARE AND RESPECT. AFTER ALL WE ARE TRUSTING THEM WITH OUR LIVES. ADAMS CHOSE TO BE A PLASTIC SURGEON. WE DIDN’T MAKE HIM DO IT AND IF HE WAS SO DISINTERESTED IN HIS CHOSEN CAREER TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS THAT ARE NECESSARY TO PREVENT AN INFECTION OR MAKE A MISTAKE THAT MIGHT CAUSE SOMEONES DEATH THEN HE SHOULD HAVE QUIT AND BECAME A TV PERSONALITY SINCE THAT SEEMED TO BE HIS MAIN INTEREST THE LAST FEW YEARS. I WONDER “ANONYMOUS”, HOW YOU WOULD HAVE FELT HAD YOUR PHYSICIAN TREATED YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THE WAY ADAMS TREATED EMMA AND OUR FAMILY. WOULD YOU JUST STAND THERE AND DO NOTHING?..WOULD YOU TELL YOUR MOTHER OR SISTER OR EVEN YOUR DAUGHTER THAT THEY LOOKED LIKE AN IDIOT IF ADAMS WOULD HAVE DISFIGURED THEM PERMANENTLY AND THEY CRIED OUT OF SHAME? Yes in a lot of cases cosmetic surgery is an unnecessary risk; however, breast reduction is sometimes necessary due to back pain, etc. In addition, it doesn’t matter if it is a risk. Walking across the street is a risk; however, we are taught to do it properly - just as Dr. West should have been taught. What does being a man have to do with wanting to make the person who is responsible for his mother’s death pay? After reading your comment - I wonder about your manhood. For real.
