Dayna Devon's Life-Changing Decision

After two babies in two years, "Extra's" own Dayna Devon found that losing the pregnancy weight was only half the battle.

Despite thousands of crunches and countless hours in the gym, Dayna still couldn't lose her belly. So she made a major decision to have plastic surgery with a brand-new procedure, and she's sharing the amazing before and after with "Extra."

Hi Dayna, Please send me the procedure name for the tummy tuck your spouse did for you and his name. Does he practice in NY or Ca.? Is this procedure listed with The American Society of Plastic Surgeons?
Thank you kindly, Belinda

I think this story is vain and doesn’t deserve the coverage

Dayna,
I work in the surgical field and the mommy make over is a great thing. I am glad that you went public. How ever shame on you!!!!! Did you ever think of the ethical issues involved with letting your husband operate on you? I would belive that the board of plastic surgery frowns on that, and most facilities won’t allow it. With so many things in the media about botched surgeries and plastic surgery realated death. You should be educating the public on finding a plastic surgeon, the difference between plastic surgeons and cosmetic surgeons. We need to be aware of the Dr setting up shop and doing cosmetic procedures in there offices and harming people. Instead of shamelessly promoting your husband. He is not the first to do auto fat(from abdomen)injection to lips and laugh lines. The procedure has been around for years now and the tummy tuck I feel as if you were cheated and again shamelessly promoting your husband.

WOW! That is great…for you. I have more skin on my arms then you did on your belly. I’ve had 3 kids and I know the feeling all too well about wanting a flat belly. My husband is a master plumber. How about a trade??? He will put in a new bathroom for you if your hubby will give me a tummy tuck and a great waist line like yours! DEAL????!!!????

Wow, to feel like the person you were before kids is a life changing opportunity. Post babies I (we) come to terms with out new bodies although we don’t want to. My husband thinks it’s silly to “worry” so much about my body - and in truth I really don’t. Although, as his body didn’t change, it’s impossible for him to understand the enormity of being able to feel like the person you’ve always been and not the one you don’t have control of.

To me this procedure isn’t about looking younger or trying to look like a Hollywood star, it’s about FEELING like my true self. I’d love to find out more about how and where to have this procedure done. If you’d like a case study person, I’m in!!!!

Kindest regards, S. Carter

I have been thin all my life and it’s difficult after having children to see how my body has changed. I saw the results on Extra of Dayna’s procedure and I too am very interested.
