Did Britney Finally Hire a Driver?

Britney Spears’ dangerous driving skills have reportedly landed her in trouble with the court. Now has the pop star finally become a backseat driver?

Yes! “Extra” caught Britney being driven to the ritzy Four Season Hotel in Beverly Hills yesterday by her new chauffer, perhaps an attempt to avoid running more red lights or slamming into to paparazzi.

Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told “Extra” he thinks Brit made the right decision.

“If she’s driving with a professional driver, I think that’s a good idea,” said Kaplan.

However, by late last night the troubled star was back in the driver’s seat of her white Mercedes – wearing sunglasses.

Brit later went to Sunset Strip hotspot Mirabelle, where she exited with a waiter named Michael Marchand – reportedly her new man. X17online.com captured the two leaving the restaurant and says the two have been texting each other constantly.

They’re THE worst-looking sunglasses she’s ever bought, and she looks ridiculous wearing them, too.
