VIDEO: Danny Bonaduce's Rumble with Jonny Fairplay

Danny Bonaduce was involved in a "violent act" at last night's Fox Reality Channel Really Awards at Boulevard 3, and only "Extra" has the video of how it all went down.

The Fox Reality Channel Really Awards air on October 13.

WARNING This video is graphic and may be considered offensive by some.

“What business is it o his to get up on stage and say that anyway?”

Read the E! Online write-up of the incident “Bonaduce: Turnabout for Fairplay?” by Gina Serpe, and you’ll notice this tidbit:

“To the people around him, Bonaduce muttered that [the booing] was because the audience hated Fairplay. Bonaduce said a woman in a headset then encouraged him to go onstage and tell Fairplay—a request Bonaduce readily obliged.”

And Danny Bonaduce did exactly what the woman on the headset recommended, no more, and no less. What Danny did might be annoying, even if invited by show producers, but what Johnny Fairplay (Jon Dalton) did was truly uncalled for.

Johnny was rolling the dice by pulling his stunt, probably to get a more positive reaction from the audience. But, I think Johnny hadn’t considered the possible response from Danny; that was a stupid move on Johnny’s part.

What came next may have seemed excessive, but who’s choice is that in a moment such as this? Johnny violated Danny’s space, and not mildly or innocently (what was Johnny doing? humping Danny?), so it’s obviously Danny’s choice. Let’s not kid ourselves.

Danny could have tried to wrestle Johnny away, onto Johnny’s backside, but that would have probably put both of them on the floor with Danny mixed up on top. Over the head was quicker, easier, and made more sense if you wanted to avoid the wrestling.

I feel bad for Johnny, but not much.

Hey anytime anyone jumps on you, you can do anything in your power to get them off. A little much here, yes, but John whatever his name is invaded his space. Case closed.

This was a flagrant and stupid act by fairplay. Everyone knows Danny is a blackbelt and in extremely good shape. This is a clear case of self defense on Danny’s part. No charges, no pay day.

In California it is assault and battery to jump on someone uninvited. The way Johnny was holding Danny only left one course of exit, over the head. Unfortunate but totally justified. Of-course in a State that can not convict OJ, Robert Blake, or Phil Specter, I worry about Danny getting a fail trial.

Why would any good site in this day and age not use a the very popular and very easy to use and view Flash plugin to display their videos?

Hmmm, I guess Johnny finally got a taste of reality. I don’t personally care about either one of these flash in the pans, but if I another man jumps on me like that, I will consider it assault and introduce him to the pavement as well. If a guy did this to a female we would consider it sexual harrassment or even assault. Maybe Danny needs to file assault charges and sexual harrassment charges against un-fairlplay. Now that’s playing fair finally.

Sorry,
But dopey Johnny made first physical contact and Danny is WELL within his rights to use force to remove him from his person up to and including lethal force until such time as Johnny is physically removed from his private person. Danny did nothing illegal NOR wrong. Had he turned and kicked him that would be different. Another point in Danny’s favor hae was LEAVING the area AFTER making what some might consider a negatvie comment, Johnny is the part that escalated the incident by calling him out and then rushing him.

In Virginia, where Johnny is from and where we are armed, he might easily have been shot prior to landing on Danny in the first place…

So with just some dental damage, he got off easy this time.

The guy is a total loser though, you got to admit that.

I’m ashamed he hails from my state and GLAD he relocated westward where we keep the rest of the nations trash, he has that much sense at the very least.

Fairplay referred to jumping on Danny as a “hug and nice thing” OMFG.. is there any man out there who would consider this little weisel jumping on them and dry humping as a “nice thing”? The weisel invaded Danny’s space and was the instigator pure and simple! He’s just lucky he wasn’t hurt more.

I have no opinion on Danny whatsoever…just a great big no one in my book. But I watched Survivor and therefore actively despise Johnny, so I’m all for what happened to him…just a pity it didn’t break his neck and finish the job.

I feel sorry for both of them.

In Jonny’s case, his playful, albeit obnoxious, behavior didn’t warrant being pummelled face-first onto the floor.

And in Danny’s case, he seems absolutely unable to take exception with anyone — physically or verbally — without coming across as some kind of seething madman.

There’s treatment available for that sort of chronic behavior, Danny, talk therapy being a very good place to start.

I’m old enough to remember the original airing of the Partridge Family and poeple from my era don’t think that a grown man jumping on you and humping on your face is cool. Danny is from my era, and we don’t platy that S**T. Danny should have thrown his a** off the stage.

Danny is such a violent loose cannon. What a loser. I guess he wanted to show the crowd how buff he was by tossing Johnny over his head. Danny just proved himself to be a roid raging muscle head. It will be nice to see Danny go to jail, the Adam coralla show will be better with out this Douche bag.

Let me jump on a drunk, cokehead, weightlifting black belt who hates me, in land in the vulnerable position of being 5 feet off the ground with my legs wrapped around him, dry hump him, and see what he does. If that works, I’ll dunk my arm in gravy and stick it in a pit bull’s mouth.

I think Danny did a great job with this one. It actually may be the best performance I have seen by Danny for a while. I really don’t think he should get sued for throwing this no talent twatwaffle, Johnny Fairplay. I would have liked to see Rodney Dangerfield go as far as he did by jumping on people when he left the stage. He probably would have been shot. Time for some ex-reality Tv stars to get a real job, maybe? Hey Johnny, Your 2 front teeth, “Thats Reality!”

Danny overreacted. He could have pushed him off instead of throwing him over his shoulders. What business is it o his to get up on stage and say that anyway? He thinks he’s hot s**t. In an interview with Danny right after it happened, he said that he was concerned for his safety and that he was protecting himself. That’s BS. He wasn’t in danger at all. He was insulted and lost his cool as usual. Yes, Fairplay is an idiot but Danny was out of line and needs anger management big time. He’s a ticking time bomb.

How freakin’ STUPID is Fairplay to, basically, ambush Bonaduce, who everyone knows is a psychotic, ticking timebomb who lifts weights??!! An idiot and a lunatic: BAD combination. Fairplay was asking for it on this one, though.

Danny’s popularity began innocently as an adored part of the Partridge family. As he grew… his life encountered problems like everyone else. He did not become popular by faking a death of a family member. He is endeared by people who “grew up” with him in T.V. land and love and accept him for who he is. Ture love always seeks the other persons highest good. This other guy… “Fairplay”… is a walk in reality contestant - who has no regard for respect or love of family… to be able to fake his own grandmothers death is unthinkable. How can he face his family! Danny was just doing what Danny does… and that was being himself and acting for the audience. That is what he does and is expected to do. It could have been “funny” if the other guy would have just had the brains to go along with it. “Fairplay” wanted to be the center of attraction and made a fool of himself. He called Danny back to the stage - after Danny simply stated what all of America was thinking anyway. Danny is NOT the guy to jump and hump (especially if you are another guy) in front of a television screen with millions of viewers. The last thing Danny would want America to think would be that he would have any kind of “goof around” friendship with someone like “Fairfield”. Danny admits he has problems… and is open about seeking help - not only for him - but for his family - who he obviously loves very much. Fairfield has no regard for anyone but himself. Fairfield got what he deserved (even though it was not intentional by Danny… as he was merely getting this guy who had the gull to jump him - off him) - and maybe now he will see that not only does most of America hate him… but entertainers as well. Just go away “Fairfield”. Danny… you and your family are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. Best of luck to you always.

Danny, thanks for not killing that little puker. He isn’t worth ANY of the trouble that your wasting him would have bought U. Maybe Dentist will help the World, and fit him with some of those fake Buck Teeth, like Jerry Lewis used to sport :-)
