“Extra” caught up with Tim McGraw at the star-studded tribute to Hank Williams, Jr. at last night’s taping of “CMT Giant,” where Tim finally spoke out about his infamous close encounter with a touchy female fan.
“I just kind of thought it was disrespectful, not only to me and to my wife but to herself,” Tim blasted.
In August, a woman actually grabbed Tim’s crotch as he performed at a concert in Louisiana. After the fan made her move, wife Faith Hill took aim at her, yelling, "Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend!” Faith’s outburst was caught on tape and widely broadcast on YouTube.
However, it didn’t take long for another fan to grab Tim. At that same concert, one woman actually swiped Tim’s wedding ring right off his finger! The ring was later returned.
Now Tim is warning fans who may feel the need to reach out and touch.
“Don’t do that,” he pleaded.

Hey Elle I agree, where are the interviews about her meltdown at the CMA’s? I bet Tim didn’t mind all the women he let touch him while he’s not on tour with wife. I can’t wait until some women comes out and has proof that she had an affair with him, we’ll see if he talks about respect for his wife!! hey wasn’t there a rumor years ago about her having an affair with alan jackson? Don’t know if it was ever true, but i did read an article with something about it in “jane” magazine. they think they are so hollywood.
