Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have denied romance rumors for months, but brand new pictures show the couple can’t keep it a secret any longer.

Reese, 31, and Jake, 26, were snapped holding hands while taking a romantic stroll through Rome.

But the evidence that blows the lid off their so-called friendship is the tell-all picture of the two locking lips! She even rested her head on his shoulder as they took in the sights of Italy.

Reese and Jake were in town for the European premiere of their new flick “Rendition.” The two met during filming of the drama, though the two never actually had a scene together.

Throughout promotion of the film, the stars kept their distance. At the flick’s L.A. premiere, not one picture could be snapped of the two posing together. Still, rumors swirled that the pair had rekindled their once-hot romance.

Earlier this summer, Reese and Jake were spotted around Los Angeles together, but they reportedly split amid rumors that Reese needed to devote more time to kids Ava and Deacon, hers from her 7-year marriage to Ryan Phillippe. Their divorce was just finalized this month.
