Pete Wentz Calls Ashlee Simpson 'My Best Friend'

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz was honored at last night's Young Hollywood Style Awards, but where was girlfriend Ashlee Simpson?

"I needed something that would actually be shorter than me on the red carpet so we went with a light bulb instead of Ashlee," Wentz joked about his odd choice of accessory.

All joking aside, Pete told us, "It was her birthday last night, so I think she's still probably opening presents somewhere."
