Marie Osmond Collapses After 'Dancing' Routine
Marie Osmond collapsed after her routine on “Dancing with the Stars” tonight.
The embarrassed star, 48, was only down for a minute before she was helped to her feet.
“This happens sometimes when I get winded,” she told host Samantha Harris. “I’m so sorry.”
The fall happened in front of a television audience. Viewers on the east coast saw her perform her samba, then walk with partner Jonathan Roberts to the judges before fainting. Host Tom Bergeron acted fast and cut to commercial.
Medics rushed to her side, but she rose to her feet as the audience applauded. After taking a break backstage, she came back to the judges to receive her score – a 21.

Thank God Marie’s okay. When she went down, I thought something horrible had happened to her. When the long commercial break ended, and Tom announced that she was okay, I was so relieved. I hope she is feeling better today. She did an awesome job on the samba, too, so her exhertion was not for naught.
