'Dancing' Shocker! Sabrina Bryan Goes Home

Fans, judges and fellow contestants gasped on “Dancing with the Stars” last night when Sabrina Bryan – long favored to win the competition – was sent home.

“I had you so pegged for the finale,” host Tom Bergeron said as dancers shook their heads and the audience booed. Sabrina’s mouth hung open in disbelief as partner Mark Ballas stared ahead.

Still, Sabrina remained cheerful after the show. She told “Extra” backstage, “We will dance again. I’ve had an incredible time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and to meet the people I’ve met.”

She added, “It’s so sucky to go home, but at the same time, so amazing to look back at all the memories. I have some amazing pictures and stories.”

Meanwhile, Jane Seymour had to miss last night's show because of a medical emergency!

The beauty was rushed to the hospital after rehearsal due to a bad case of food poisoning. She's expected to make a full recovery and return for the next show.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told “Extra” that the decision to can Sabrina – clearly that of the audience, as the Cheetah Girl was a judge favorite – was a mistake. Carrie Ann called Sabrina the best female competitor that the show has ever had.

In fact, Melanie Brown thinks something actually went wrong!

"I think that she should ask for a recount," Mel B. told "Extra."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is fighting mad, fuming, "There were couples, celebrities that should have been eliminated tonight. The two in the bottom two were not."

Carrie Ann added, "I'm really upset. I'm kind of heartbroken. She brought so much power. As a female competitor, we have never seen anybody as good as Sabrina."

Are you shocked and outraged by Sabrina's "Dancing" castoff? Leave your video comments here, and they may be featured on the show!

I’m sorry but I honestly feel that she needed to be voted off. Yes she’s great, very talented, but she has dance experience and is a choreagrapher…that puts her at a definite advantage and I think to make the show fair they need to all be equal. Of course there were people not as good as she was…but they never had dance experience either.

OK…so, why isn’t anyone talking about Sabrina and Mark “the couple.”

Sabrina should of been sent home! DWTS is for Stars and Celebrities. Who ever heard of her before DWTS!! NO ONE I KNOW!! Clearly she dances with the Cheetah girls and has dancing experience, an unfair advantage over, lets say, Wayne Newton, Marie, Jane, Helio, and Cameron. The show made a mistake, she should not of been on the show in the first place, this is for amateurs, not professional dancers. She also has age advantage. And the judges are there to critique the performances and remain unbiased!! Unfortunately, the judges show favoritism, and try to influence the viewers. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL of Carrie Ann, Bruno & Len.There have been several performance by others that warranted 10’s., and were given 7’s. That is why the viewers vote and have been heard loud and clear!!The best is yet to come, stay tuned!!

Not that I have that much faith in my fellow man; but I really think that Sabrina’s fans dropped the ball. They probably assumed they need not vote as often or at all for her to get through. Well we know that didn’t work. So I’ll definitely be voting online/phone for Jenny next week.

There is something seriously wrong with the phones this year. I have had trouble every week I vote. This is the first year that has happened. There is an almost 30 second pause after dialing that is blank. Many times there is the “if you’d like to make a call….” that comes on some of the lines. This has happened even with redial.I never could get through Sabrina’s line. It was always busy or I got that message. Please check the phone lines and if thre was an error, give her another chance. That happened once, several years ago, on “American Idol” and they did just that. Thank you.Judy

I believe that Sabrina was not voted for because the information got out that she is a professional dancer and does choreographing herself. This competion is suppose to be for amateurs.

Something is wrong here…she was the best on that show……and there are others that shouldn’t even be there.

Sabrina is a great dancer, and as well she should be, she does it for a living. However, my take on it is that she didn’t get the votes because everyone figured she was obviously the winner, and assumed that she was getting the votes from others, when in fact they voted for someone else. I personally go with the most improved without dancing experience in their everyday job.

I personally think Jane should have gone. She has more excuses for not doing well. I think she faked food poisoning so she would not be there for the elimination round. She is not good!Sabrina is GOOD!

I was FLOORED when I saw Cameron and Sabrina in the bottom two! What the h**l is America doing? They are not voting that’s for sure! Marie and Jane should’ve been in the bottom two and it should’ve been one of their turns to go! I’m a Marie fan but hey, the others are just better at it! Sabrina was awesome and SHOULD still be there! It’s absolutely ABSURD that she was sent home! ABSURD!!!

Sabrina was the best dancer in the competition because she HAVE the experience of a professional DANCE EXPERT!! And the others DON’T! That’s the reason why she didn’t advance, AMERICA! The winner of this competion will be a less experience dancer that improves his/her dancing skills AND ACES THE FINAL EXAM!!! And all remaining contenders advancement is well-deserved!!!

Bring her back. Seriously. Either Marie or Jane should do the right thing and give up their spot for her. They get pitty votes!

I have cancelled dinners, family outings and work clients all to make sure that I was home each Monday and Tuesday to watch dancing with the stars.
DWTS biggest fan is no more. How could any one who is really voting for the best dancer vote Jane over Sabrina? We should demand a re-count!

ITS OBVIOUS SABRINA IS A GREAT DANCER. I THINK WHAT GOT HER VOTED OFF. WAS THE SCENES SHOWING HER DOING A (DANCE) VIDEO WITH THE CHEETAH GIRLS… WHAT I THOUGHT THIS SHOW WAS ABOUT WAS TAKING STARS, ATHLETES, WHO HAVE HAD NO DANCE EXPERIENCE AND TURNING THEM INTO DANCERS… WHICH WOULD BE MOST IMPROVED EACH WEEK. I DONOT THINK ITS FAIR TO PUT A PERFORMER WITH ANY KIND OF DANCE BACKGROUND AGAINST SOMEONE WITH NO DANCE BACKGROUND. WATCH OUT MEL.. SPICE GIRLS DANCE,

Yes I agree, Sabrina is a wonderful dancer. BUT, this show is for those that are NOT dancers by trade. She was over qualified and should never have been on in the first place. I think the decision was a good one.

Well I guess we proved last night what Dancing with the Stars is NOT … It is NOT a dance contest. It is a popularity contest and nothing more. Why waste the stars time teaching them to dance when, clearly, that is not what people are voting for. I love Marie O. too - who doesn’t - but she can’t come close to Sabrina. If DWTS doesn’t hold a recount of votes, they will certainly lose this viewer.

This clearly was not voting for the best dancer. I can’t believe the public really voted her off, has to be some kind of mistake, surely people. This years tells me this is strictly a popularity contest, my last season to watch.
