'Dancing' Shocker! Sabrina Bryan Goes Home

Fans, judges and fellow contestants gasped on “Dancing with the Stars” last night when Sabrina Bryan – long favored to win the competition – was sent home.

“I had you so pegged for the finale,” host Tom Bergeron said as dancers shook their heads and the audience booed. Sabrina’s mouth hung open in disbelief as partner Mark Ballas stared ahead.

Still, Sabrina remained cheerful after the show. She told “Extra” backstage, “We will dance again. I’ve had an incredible time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and to meet the people I’ve met.”

She added, “It’s so sucky to go home, but at the same time, so amazing to look back at all the memories. I have some amazing pictures and stories.”

Meanwhile, Jane Seymour had to miss last night's show because of a medical emergency!

The beauty was rushed to the hospital after rehearsal due to a bad case of food poisoning. She's expected to make a full recovery and return for the next show.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told “Extra” that the decision to can Sabrina – clearly that of the audience, as the Cheetah Girl was a judge favorite – was a mistake. Carrie Ann called Sabrina the best female competitor that the show has ever had.

In fact, Melanie Brown thinks something actually went wrong!

"I think that she should ask for a recount," Mel B. told "Extra."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is fighting mad, fuming, "There were couples, celebrities that should have been eliminated tonight. The two in the bottom two were not."

Carrie Ann added, "I'm really upset. I'm kind of heartbroken. She brought so much power. As a female competitor, we have never seen anybody as good as Sabrina."

Are you shocked and outraged by Sabrina's "Dancing" castoff? Leave your video comments here, and they may be featured on the show!

How can you say she is a professional dancer? Yes, she is in a music group that dances but that doesn’t mean she is a professional. Look at Mel B, she was in Spice Girls, she has dancing background, so does that mean she should be out. How hard do you think it is, to dance hip hop and have all kinds of habits, and to start dancing ballroom and try and break those habits. It’s gotta be pretty darn hard. Sabrina is the true Dancing With the Stars winner; people like Marie and Jane should be going home next.

It’s too bad it’s just another reality show for the masses and a big popularity contest. Sabrina, a truly talented dancer was voted off and it shows ABC’s lack of brains in allowing it to happen. Now we have a mediocre crew of want to be dancers competing. I think it’s a fix up job by the producers cause if you read the credits at the end it always said the results were a collaboration by the producers. Too bad a good show is not credible now.

sabrina bryan is the ONLY true winner of dancing with the stars.she was the strongest female competitor and being a HIP HOP dancer DOES NOT give u an edge in a BALLROOM dancing competition.the ppl who didn’t vote for her are IDIOTS!

DO NOT LET THIS TURN INTO A SHOW THAT I REMEMBER ALITTLE WHILE BACK WHERE JOHN HURLEY WHINED THAT HE SHOULD HAVE WON AND THEN DWTS HAD A DO OVER BETWEEN HIM AND KELLY MONACO. OH YEAH OF COURSE JOHN GOT THE WIN. THAT WAS ONE OF THE DUMBEST THING EVER. IF YOU LOSE SO BE IT. NOT EVERYONE AGREES BUT THAT IS THE WAY IT IS DONE. SO GET OVER THE FACT THAT SABRINA IS NOT GONNA WIN. SHE WAS GOOD, BUT THEN AGAIN SHE ALREADY HAD DANCING EXPERIENCE COMPARED TO HER COMPETITORS. SO GOOD LUCK TO THE REST OF YOU. THE SHOW WILL BE MORE INTERESTING AND FUN TO WATCH.

Lenny took her down to make way for Melanie. Your scoring should be weighted to make up the better dancers till third from last week. its just a population contest.

yes, people thought she was “safe”…but curious how both she and cameron were in the bottom two…both had lots of complaining monday night about their busy schedules, lack of time to practice…then mel b says she only had 6 hours and look what she was able to do….

DONNY OSMOND ACCOMPLISHED EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTED. HE DID A REALLY LOW BLOW. IN HIS INTERVIEW HE STATED” SHE,IS A PROFESSIONAL DANCER AND SHOULD NOT EVEN BE THERE” WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS? IF THE JUDGES OKED HER WHO IS HE EXCEPT TO PLAN AN ATTACT FOR HIS SISTER. PS, WHAT ARE HIS QUALIFACTIONS TO BE ANY KIND OF A JUDGE ANY WAY??

I still don’t know who Sabrina is. The whole point of the show is to watch beloved stars dance, and Sabrina is just not on the map….Why vote for someone you know very little about? Might as well add random people from the street. Ultimately, the show is also a bit of a popularity contest.

Sabrina is a HIP-HOP DANCER! AND also NOT a professional! She mostly SINGS & ACTS! Obviously you have not followed her work are believing the haters who makes this up to make her LOOK bad! So screw all the haters because you did not win. No matter if she got voted off, everyone knows she was the best dancer. And NOT because of a little dancing background (look at Mel B, Joey Fatone, etc.), but because she tried her best, practiced, and was talented. So in my mind and probably a lot of America, Sabrina is the TRUE WINNER of Dancing With the Stars!

I think Sabrina should of never got voted off. Everyone is saying that because she has dancing experience and the others don’t gives her an advantage. Let me ask you a question what if Sabrina didn’t have BALLROOM experience? And what do Hip-HOP dancing have anything to do with BallROOM dancing. It’s not like she does BALLROOM dancing for a living. I’ll tell you how should of gone home is Marie,Jane,Cameron.

I AGREE WITH THE FACT THAT THE SHOW IS TO BLAME. THIS SHOW IS ABOUT PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO DANCE EXPERIENCE AND TURN THEM INTO GREAT DANCERS AND HAVING FUN DOING IT. WHEN YOU THROW INTO THE MIX SOMEONE WHO ALREADY HAS DANCING EXPERIENCE, NO MATTER WHAT KIND, ALONG WITH ACTORS AND ATHLETES, MY VOTE WILL ALWAYS GO TO THE PERSON WHO STARTS FROM SQUARE ONE AND IMPROVES THE BEST EVERY WEEK. SO NO, I AM GLAD THAT SABRINA IS GONE AS ARE THE GROUP OF PEOPLE AND FRIENDS THAT COME TO MY HOUSE EVERY MONDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT TO WATCH THE SHOW. NOW WE CAN ENJOY THE SHOW BETTER.

It’s about time she was voted off the show. Yes, she is good but the show is for amateur dancers and she has a dancing background with her group which is not fair to the other contestants. I thought the show was about taking someone with little or no experience in dancing and watching their progress each week in becoming a celebrity dancing star.

All the remaining couples are very good, and they need votes to stay alive. Unfortunately, the stars’ fan base counts, and Sabrina is popular among a younger crowd than the audience of Dancing.

Sabrina went home because America knew she was already a professional dancer. Dancing with the stars is not for professionals and shame on the person who invited her. Judges stop crying, there are better dances than her.

I am shocked, that Maria and Jane are still in the race, there are fairly good they were no completion to Sabrina. I will stop watching the show. The judges or professionals should judge and not the stupid public.
It is a dancing show. Let’s face it the older folks have to learn criticism and stop whining and have no chance with the young and the flexible ones. I am a baby boomer and realistic.

Okay people, if this was a real competition, the playing field would be more equal—in this show there are differences in age, dance background, and judges get only 50% of the vote and America is allowed the other 50%. This is TV, folks, where it’s all about entertainment value (thus, giving America 50% of the vote). Sad that Sabrina had to go, but the fault is really ours. If we played the game right, Sabrina would still be on.

First of all, Sabrina dances hiphop (not very well IMO and certainly can’t compete with professionals in this arena), not ballroom. One has nothing to do with the other. If you don’t believe me, ask anyone who has watched So You Think You Can Dance, they know that when a hip hop dancer tries to dance ballroom and vice versa, the results are often disatrous. Yet, Sabrina was FABULOUS. She deserves props for that, it’s a real achievement. America abhors excellence (especially in women) and rewards mediocrity but couches it in a love for the “underdog”. Bullsh*t. Sabrina is the best dancer this miserable show has ever had (male OR female, CarrieAnn) and her ousting is their loss. I’m not watching anymore. I love dance, and GOOD dance, too much to support such a trifling show with my viewership. I hope their ratings tank but I know they won’t, America clearly knows nothing about dance (and, yes, I do).

I think that they need to do a recount cause she was a great dancer. And i dont think it matters that she already is a dancer, Drew Lachey was a dancer and he won. They made a bid mistake, they should have voted off Marie or Jane cause there not doing as well as the others.
