'Dancing' Shocker! Sabrina Bryan Goes Home

Fans, judges and fellow contestants gasped on “Dancing with the Stars” last night when Sabrina Bryan – long favored to win the competition – was sent home.

“I had you so pegged for the finale,” host Tom Bergeron said as dancers shook their heads and the audience booed. Sabrina’s mouth hung open in disbelief as partner Mark Ballas stared ahead.

Still, Sabrina remained cheerful after the show. She told “Extra” backstage, “We will dance again. I’ve had an incredible time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and to meet the people I’ve met.”

She added, “It’s so sucky to go home, but at the same time, so amazing to look back at all the memories. I have some amazing pictures and stories.”

Meanwhile, Jane Seymour had to miss last night's show because of a medical emergency!

The beauty was rushed to the hospital after rehearsal due to a bad case of food poisoning. She's expected to make a full recovery and return for the next show.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told “Extra” that the decision to can Sabrina – clearly that of the audience, as the Cheetah Girl was a judge favorite – was a mistake. Carrie Ann called Sabrina the best female competitor that the show has ever had.

In fact, Melanie Brown thinks something actually went wrong!

"I think that she should ask for a recount," Mel B. told "Extra."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is fighting mad, fuming, "There were couples, celebrities that should have been eliminated tonight. The two in the bottom two were not."

Carrie Ann added, "I'm really upset. I'm kind of heartbroken. She brought so much power. As a female competitor, we have never seen anybody as good as Sabrina."

To the persons that think that Seamore and Osmond don’t have a dance back ground I say check their bio’s. Wise up people, this is clearly a popularity contest and it is sick ! My huisband and I won’t be watching the show any more because of this!

The whole world thought Mark & Sabrina were a shoe-in & they slack on voting. Please, please do something to get them back & get rid of the stars who really need to go. You have the power & know how to bring them back, so please do it. Just look everyone, so many people called & “jammed the lines”. They did it for Bush, do it for someone who counts.

I think it was terrible that the two lowest scorers were not in the bottom two. It has been shown on Idol, America’s Got Talent and now here that the voting system does not work. Too many people messing with the outcome for fun. That being said there has to be a better way to do this. They were a great team and I was very happy to see her take it in the professional manner she did. Yes it is true that she is younger and many of the people who know her watch Disney and not DWTS. Shame on Jane for trashing Mel B though stating she only walks through the dance routine. Did she see the video of her dance? And for the record yes she did bring her feet off the floor. So much for rules. It is a tradgedy what happened to her mom and Marie fainting and I hope people aren’t voting for those reasons. It is a talent contest not a popularity one or at least that is the premise. Maybe they need to run real time shows once to avoid these future pit falls

I think that because Sabrina was not as universally known, that it all boiled down to a celebrity popularity contest, as we get this close to the finish. Because most of the others have been or are currently on TV, the general public voted likewise. Sabrina was the most consistent from the start..

I’m thrilled that Sabrina was given the boot. She was highly overrated and her 20 year old sassy ego is totally unattractive. I never found her fun to watch, she’s too full of herself as demonstrated off and on the dance floor. I guess her young fans were too busy partying to vote for her. Everyone left on the show are entertaining to watch, and have a maturity and gracefulness that makes it fun to watch.

Sabrina has had experience with dancing, as has Mel. The show, I understand, is for amateurs. Obviously, Maria and Jane are amateurs. The most improved amateurs that I have voted for are Jenny and Cameron, both of whom have no prior dance experience and have come a long way. I would never vote for anyone with prior dance experience and if there are those that disagree, they should be voting for them.

it is absolutely ridicilous that Sabrina got voted off!!! she was by far the best dancer on the show! i think the show needs to look at having the judges scores count for more when it comes down to who goes home. because people like Sabrina should be in the finals not going home. i honestly don’t feel like watching the show anymore because she brought so much to the table and made the show what it was this season. now it just wont be the same. :( America made a BIG mistake!!!!!!!

As someone who shares the same name as Sabrina, I was so shocked to see her voted off. I absolutely loved watching her every week and I didn’t even know who she was when she started the show. I only wish I could have voted for her but I work nights and have to watch the episodes on DVR. I think maybe the voting needs to be re-vamped and take into account all the people who can’t vote because they have to watch delayed broadcasts such as DVR or TIVO.

I think that last night’s show was not just a disappointment, but it was criminal. Sabrina must have been so very upset, and was yet still so gracious with nothing negative to say
This makes her a true champion. She is the absolute winner in my book, no matter what anyone says.
I have been diagnosed with bone cancer in both my legs, and watching her is was what gave me the strength to go through the pain of treatment. She is totally amazing, and the # 1 reason that I watched the show this season. I will miss seeing her dance.

Even though Sabrina is a singer and dancer, the dances that these Stars are being taught are totally different than what Sabrina does on stage. Sabrina appears to be one of those that has a natural rhythm. Even if Sabrina was not an entertainer, she still could dance like she does on DWTS. America voted wrong!!! Sabrina and all those who felt that way are not a bunch of “cry babies”. They are just people who know what talent is all about.

The show lost its spark when Sabrina left. She was the best. I tuned in every week to just see her. Have no desire to continue. Something is wrong.
Need to do a recount. Jane Seymour should have left and it appears she thought she was, so she didn’t show up.
And yes I voted for Sabrina.
What a shame for the show. Lost a fan.
Don’t the judges count for 50%. What happened……….

I’m not happy with the results and wonder if some type of politics were involved with those that counted the results. It certainly makes me wonder why such a decision could have taken place. Obviously it’s not how good you are but who you know. Don’t intend to watch as most of those considered “better” aren’t. Who knows, maybe one of those with the right connections will be the winner despite their “talent.” Charline Berg

It made me upset that Sabrina was voted off, but what makes me more upset is people saying that she is a professional in this. Yes she is a professional in other aspects but she isn’t a professional in ballroom dancing, so she’s an amateur in it, but who can work it very well. How disappointing for those that think that she should go home because she was just there for publicity but tell me what star isn’t there for that even if its to learn something new. But oh well I’ll be rooting for Mel B from now on and as well as Cam but w/e, it won’t be the same without Sabrina there.

This competition is supposed to be for amateurs in dancing. Sabrina, Mel have experience in that field. I vote for the amateur who is most improved. I’m not saying Maria or Jane are more talented, but they ARE amateurs in dancing. The one to me who is most improved is Jenny or Cameron, period! They are the true stars of this competition.

Just because she sings and dances with the CHeetah Girls does not make her a professional dancer. She SHOULD ask for a recount, and I bet you she gets back in. I was so surprised by the vote that I might not watch the show. I hope Mel from the Spice Girls win it(OH aren’t they a professional?).

It is ashame that such a good competitor got voted off it just goes to prove the show is not really about dancing it is really a popularity contest and there is really no need for the stars to kill themselves trying to improve because it does not help in the end. And there is no need for judges if someone like Sabrina can be kicked off. I am so disappointed in the show that I will no longer watch the competition between Sabrina and Mel made the show.

just let’s say one thing we do not need cry babies and seems like the judges and Sabrina and her dance partner whom ever he is are just that. Hey this is a dance contest not for pros such as she is and I only hope Mel goes off next. I just do not care for the two of them. They both are in it for publicity come on that is not what we are looking for anyway I AM SOOOOO GLAD SHE IS GONNNNNE
