'Dancing' Shocker! Sabrina Bryan Goes Home

Fans, judges and fellow contestants gasped on “Dancing with the Stars” last night when Sabrina Bryan – long favored to win the competition – was sent home.

“I had you so pegged for the finale,” host Tom Bergeron said as dancers shook their heads and the audience booed. Sabrina’s mouth hung open in disbelief as partner Mark Ballas stared ahead.

Still, Sabrina remained cheerful after the show. She told “Extra” backstage, “We will dance again. I’ve had an incredible time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and to meet the people I’ve met.”

She added, “It’s so sucky to go home, but at the same time, so amazing to look back at all the memories. I have some amazing pictures and stories.”

Meanwhile, Jane Seymour had to miss last night's show because of a medical emergency!

The beauty was rushed to the hospital after rehearsal due to a bad case of food poisoning. She's expected to make a full recovery and return for the next show.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told “Extra” that the decision to can Sabrina – clearly that of the audience, as the Cheetah Girl was a judge favorite – was a mistake. Carrie Ann called Sabrina the best female competitor that the show has ever had.

In fact, Melanie Brown thinks something actually went wrong!

"I think that she should ask for a recount," Mel B. told "Extra."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is fighting mad, fuming, "There were couples, celebrities that should have been eliminated tonight. The two in the bottom two were not."

Carrie Ann added, "I'm really upset. I'm kind of heartbroken. She brought so much power. As a female competitor, we have never seen anybody as good as Sabrina."

Are you shocked and outraged by Sabrina's "Dancing" castoff? Leave your video comments here, and they may be featured on the show!

This is what the competition is all about.
Carrie Ann, kindly take some advise from
Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.A judge should never talk about how upset she or he is when a favorite goes home.

I liked watching Sabrina too but I did not vote this week….how many others didn’t either. It is our fault that she is no longer in the competition.Don’t assume that just because someone is good they will win.Sometimes we need a shocking surprise to remind us to do our part.

Donnie Osmond should butt out.
He is deciding for Amercia…on ALL the dancers!
ET has set the show up by having him do a public assessment !

Not right..being a close family member to Marie and all ! love ya Marie but get your brother out of the limelight!

she’s a pro dancer and didn’t belong in this show! Monday night showed her making her professional dance/song video.

She can’t do the slow dances. Everything is not Salsa

I think it was about time they got that low class, no dancing tramp off the show. She should have been booted long before now. It was sickening to see that fat shaking while she was dancing. She always looked, acted, and portrayed the tramp of the show. Goodbye and good ridence to the elephant girl!!!!

Whenever I click Disagree, this board is counting it as an Agree. Please fix this!!!

It looks as if lots of people are agreeing that Sabrina’s elimination was justified just because she dances for the Cheetah Girls. I honestly doubt that very many people feel that way, but the board is counting the votes wrong!

Thank you.

ATTN: Sabrina was sabotaged! In the The same way that Mario was. The video Dorinda Tango(youtube-cheetah girls) was deliberately circulated to say that Sabrina had an unfair advantage over the other celebrities, because she had prior ballroom experience. People got riled up after seeing the video, and deliberately moved to get her off the show. It was a malicious, deliberate plan.

Let’s not blame the public for Sabrina being eliminated. I will be the FIRST to agree that it was a GROSS MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE to send Sabrina home. She was the best dancer DWTS has EVER had…. BUT how was the public to know that she wasn’t getting enough of the viewer votes when the show keeps the viewers scores completely SECRET?

I’m sure everyone thought Sabrina was safe — that is IF viewer votes actually count at all! If viewer votes are really 50% of the score, then why aren’t the results revealed??? Just like the judges’ scores are shown, the viewers’ scores should also be shown. The vote totals should be revealed on Tuesdays during the results shows. Then anyone who doubted the outcome could do the math themselves.

The fact that the veiwer vote totals are shrouded in mystery makes me VERY suspicious. I actually believe the show is rigged, especially NOW!!! If it isn’t, then why all the secrecy? I think the producers have something in mind for the finale and Sabrina didn’t fit into their plans. As long as the public believes the results are 50% judges scores and 50% viewer scores BUT half of the scores are a closely guarded secret, the producers are free to fix the outcome however they want it.

Clearly this messaging system is also flawed I tried to disagree with the idiots that said Sabrina danced masculine and it went under that I agreed with it. i can’t change it either. i absolutely love Sabrina’s dancing ability and class. Please fix this problem as this also will not be accurate.

I don’t get it why Sabrina got voted off. I was extremely upset. I think a recount is necessary! Come on people, vote based on performance not by popularity!!!! So what if she has dancing experience? It won’t change the fact that she’s the best dancer in the entire 4 seasons of DWTS!!!

I am glad she was voted off. She should not have been there in the first place. She is a professional dancer and Choreographs. She is also with the Cheetah Girls. Why don’t these people see this as totally not fair to the people like Jane and Marie. This is about people without dancing skills.

I think that Sabrina should go home.
I was “rooting” for her until I found out how much dancing she had prior to coming to the show. The winner should be a total amateur, like Jennie Garth.

America!! There will only be 1 winner for this contest. All contestants that advanced to the next level will be at risk of elimination next week! Yes, Sabrina and Mark has been eliminated, MOVE FORWARD!!! ABC will not alter its announcement. I hope Jenny and Derek advance to the finals and sieze the TROPHY!!! :0)

I think there was something WRONG with the vote tally last night. Everyone I know thought Sabrina was the best and voted for her. Or tried to. The phone number for her was busy the entire time. The automated reply sounded wrong. Will someone please look into this.

You wonder why Sabrina was voted off? Give me a break! As Donny Osmond said on Extra yesterday, Sabrina is a professionsl dancer AND a professional choreographer and the voters finally wised up to the fact that the producers goofed when theiy asked a professional dancer to be on the show. Let’s hope they get smart for next season’s show and NOT ask professional dancers to participate. Yes, she was great, because that’s what she does!!!!

This was a definite shocker. I believe Sabrina handled herself very well, however, I am sure she was shocked as well. This comes to show that it is crucial that the viewers vote for their favorite. Judge’s scores are only a fraction of the voting process. I will definitely continue to watch the show, and I will make sure that I vote enough to get Mel B and Maks through to the finals. They are the next best couple, and deserve it as much as Sabrina did. Best of luck to them!

My wife and I both think that she deserved to go. Her dancing had a very masculine style. If she was the destined winner, then why didn’t all her fans vote to keep her on. Obviously, the fans know wo should stay.

Obviously this is a popularity contest. I am very disappointed with the show. I will not hope to see the best dancer win now.
