'Dancing' Shocker! Sabrina Bryan Goes Home

Fans, judges and fellow contestants gasped on “Dancing with the Stars” last night when Sabrina Bryan – long favored to win the competition – was sent home.

“I had you so pegged for the finale,” host Tom Bergeron said as dancers shook their heads and the audience booed. Sabrina’s mouth hung open in disbelief as partner Mark Ballas stared ahead.

Still, Sabrina remained cheerful after the show. She told “Extra” backstage, “We will dance again. I’ve had an incredible time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and to meet the people I’ve met.”

She added, “It’s so sucky to go home, but at the same time, so amazing to look back at all the memories. I have some amazing pictures and stories.”

Meanwhile, Jane Seymour had to miss last night's show because of a medical emergency!

The beauty was rushed to the hospital after rehearsal due to a bad case of food poisoning. She's expected to make a full recovery and return for the next show.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told “Extra” that the decision to can Sabrina – clearly that of the audience, as the Cheetah Girl was a judge favorite – was a mistake. Carrie Ann called Sabrina the best female competitor that the show has ever had.

In fact, Melanie Brown thinks something actually went wrong!

"I think that she should ask for a recount," Mel B. told "Extra."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is fighting mad, fuming, "There were couples, celebrities that should have been eliminated tonight. The two in the bottom two were not."

Carrie Ann added, "I'm really upset. I'm kind of heartbroken. She brought so much power. As a female competitor, we have never seen anybody as good as Sabrina."

Are you shocked and outraged by Sabrina's "Dancing" castoff? Leave your video comments here, and they may be featured on the show!

I did not vote for anyone on the show (although I watched this season from the beginning - Sabrina and Mark my favorite) until after their Fox Trot number. The judges score them in a totally different category from the others and I had a gut feeling she would get screwed so I voted furiously, immediately after they danced (before I even saw the rest of the stars dance). I guess it wasn’t enough…sigh.

Sure, it’s shocking to see Sabrina go and I know a lot of people are upset by it. However, how many of you who are upset actually voted for her?

This also prove another point: Cheetah Girls fans are NOT Dancing with the Stars fan, probably because of the age. This is why Monique from High School Musical didn’t win either.

I honestly dont understand how you people can say she was a professional dancer. A professional dancer is their partner and she was no way a professional ballroom dancer. Yes, she is a dancer, but she dances mostly HIP HOP NOT BALLROOM. My votes will all be going to Mel B now. I can only hope America will smarten up and boot Jane and Marie. If I have to watch them dance one more time, I’m gonna upchuck my dinner.

America, this is a competition that will result with only 1 WINNER!!! There’s no cash prize involve but a ballroom trophy. The celebrities or people chosen to PERFORM with the EXPERTS IS for THE PUBLICITY!!! This is fun and enjoyable entertainment that shouldn’t be taken as a life-threatening disease. Sabrina, will cope with her departure from the show!! She has a good support group (which includes MARK BALLAS :))

First people this is entertainment, and that’s why they have these “Unprofessional Never Danced Before Stars” training to do better, to show progress, to show enthusiasm. If they put someone who knew how to dance and was great at it it wouldn’t be as funny, and exciting to watch… Sabrina was great and I think that was the problem. When the show started it was supposed to be about getting these “Stars” on and throwing them in the shark tank and come out fighting to win to prove their not just a Celebrity with riches and fame , that they are human and can fail or be great, that they can build a greater respect. Sabrina is great, and she proved that let someone else have the glory that shows you something… and to those who say they’ll never watch this again…please… who are you kidding… p.s. I love the judges….and perfect example of showing us something Jennie Garth, she has showed even in a fall, she will rise again…and I’m worried about Marie, she is a great person but, don’t push yourself to death. This year has a strong group of dancers.

She had an unfair advantage and needed to go home. They can have another show for professional dancers but this is supposed to be amateurs competing.

This season of DWTS has been amazing, the stars have been great & their talent is has been improving each week. They bring it to the dance floor…tough competition. But I do have to say that it was definitely a shock that Sabrina & Mark were eliminated as I thought they would be the winners.

If I have to watch Marie Osmond flap around like a walrus with an attitude bragging about her supposed shrinking waist and going through more fainting spells blaming the California brush fires(she keeps changing her excuses though), I swear I will move and start a colony on the Moon.Moral of this whole thing…America please VOTE !!! Doesn’t this remind you of something else too? No use whining and complaining about the
system, people, you GOTTA VOTE !!!

The public are morons to make the voting a popularity contest instead of voting for couples that CAN dance! We will not watch again this season. This is the second time that a couple has been eliminated that CAN dance. What a waste of time for us!

Okay, I thought Sabrina was good (although she was never my favorite)…BUT…does anyone think that she had an unfair advantage being a “hip hop” dancer?

I thought she would have gone further, especially after Jane or Marie were eliminated, but apparently the viewers thought differently.

I am so upset that Sabrina was sent home! That was clearly a mistake and no offense to the other contestants still on the show, but I have not interest in them and probably won’t watch the rest of the season now that Sabrina is gone. Dancing With the Stars just lost a viewer this season.

Sabrina should NOT have gone home! Jane Seymore needs to be eliminated, I don’t think I can watch her for another week. Her attitude and tacky costumes are annoying and she seems very tired, I think she’s run out of steam! I also believe that she suddenly acquired a case of ‘food poisoning’ to avoid the humiliation of being voted off - as she thought she would be (along with everyone else).
I vote based on who is the most entertaining and who does the best dancing for the week. Whether or not someone has had professional training is not actually part of the criteria.

Well, looks like America said different extra, I thought everyone was going for sabrina, and thought it was a shame, what happened???

all tha chick ever did was complain last show before she danced, well America did you favor, now you can be a cheetah for disney, I just don’t think she wanted it all like that… And Max, who are you? Exactly, why does america care to here from a non celeb. I think my votes went to folks that appreciated the opportunity to give it there all and see where it goes, instead of a bratty kid that complained and didn’t have too many solutions, hay sabrina, its life live wit it… no recount necessary! Max lol

Thats was harsh, but most woman in formal dances, don’t lead, looked to me and other people in america, that she liked to and it was sloppy, sorry instructor, don’t like america or the other contestents, then find your way back home, or shut up and dance, lol… This is why your show don’t do good in the first place, to many unwanted opinions, you asked america and they answered and then your going to attack america on national television, how mad..

The video from youtube absolutely made my mind up for me! She should never have been a contestant on DWTS. Good call America!

I don’t think it’s fair to allow anyone withh any type of professional dancing to be on the show at all. It’s totally not fair to the one’s that have had no training. Let’s keep it a fair show for all. I don’t think Sabrina or the other girl that’s in a band that dances around on stage should be in the contest at all. Marie is fine, she’s never had professional training and mainly her & Donnie’s thing was like 25 yrs ago and nothing at all like the type dancing Sabrina and the Black chick does on stage.

i think its what america wanted and the pest struck again, evidently… And Scary Spice’s partner, who are you to say anything, its dancing with the stars, not the instructor… So shut up, America says soo… don’t be mad don’t be mad, sabrina had thigs like christmas ham, didn’t like good at all, powerful is the Only adjective that could describe it.

Sabrina was the best competitor on DTWS. She had the best footwork of any of the celebrities. But she didn’t completely lose out; she is dating her professional partner.
