'Dancing' Shocker! Sabrina Bryan Goes Home

Fans, judges and fellow contestants gasped on “Dancing with the Stars” last night when Sabrina Bryan – long favored to win the competition – was sent home.

“I had you so pegged for the finale,” host Tom Bergeron said as dancers shook their heads and the audience booed. Sabrina’s mouth hung open in disbelief as partner Mark Ballas stared ahead.

Still, Sabrina remained cheerful after the show. She told “Extra” backstage, “We will dance again. I’ve had an incredible time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and to meet the people I’ve met.”

She added, “It’s so sucky to go home, but at the same time, so amazing to look back at all the memories. I have some amazing pictures and stories.”

Meanwhile, Jane Seymour had to miss last night's show because of a medical emergency!

The beauty was rushed to the hospital after rehearsal due to a bad case of food poisoning. She's expected to make a full recovery and return for the next show.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told “Extra” that the decision to can Sabrina – clearly that of the audience, as the Cheetah Girl was a judge favorite – was a mistake. Carrie Ann called Sabrina the best female competitor that the show has ever had.

In fact, Melanie Brown thinks something actually went wrong!

"I think that she should ask for a recount," Mel B. told "Extra."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is fighting mad, fuming, "There were couples, celebrities that should have been eliminated tonight. The two in the bottom two were not."

Carrie Ann added, "I'm really upset. I'm kind of heartbroken. She brought so much power. As a female competitor, we have never seen anybody as good as Sabrina."

Are you shocked and outraged by Sabrina's "Dancing" castoff? Leave your video comments here, and they may be featured on the show!

Did anyone ever figure out that a lot of fans wanted Sabrina to go home… her dancing was all the same no matter what she did very hard looking….it was a good choice…

I was truly shocked and devastated when Mark and Sabrina were voted off. They were by far the best dancers on the show. I do think Cameron and Mel B. have shown talent, but I tuned in to watch Sabrina and Mark and the obvious hard work and chemistry that they had. It made such a powerful performance. The sad thing is I probably will no longer watch the show because I don’t think it’s a true contest with Sabrina and Mark in the race.

this is the most stupid thing ever!!!
Sabrina was the best dancer on the show and did not deserve to go home! why are people saying she should have gone home? Those people dont know real dancing… She had a busy week and her scores slipped a bit but not enough to go home! i mean, cameron shouldn’t have been in the bottom two either!i know! cameron stayed because women love him, (and who doesn’t) but sabrina was better, me being a huge Cameron fan myself! no offense to marie or jane, but you two should have been in the bottom two, you guys can dance, but not better than Sabrina and Mark!!!!!!!!

WE LOVE YOU SABRINA AND MARK!!!!!!

It was a complete upset to see Sabrina depart from the show. I’ve watch it from day one and have seen many stars robbed but this was far the worse one. She not doubt was the best dancer this season and not because she had previous experience but because she worked the hardest and from day one set the bar. I feel that there should be a recount but I don’t think that is going to happen. Sabrina you did an amazing job and I hope that you continue the wonderful relationship you started with Mark!!

But she didn’t have BALLROOM dance experience, which is totally different from jazz or hip hop dance. She mastered ballroom beautifully, and may as well have cleared a space on her mantle for the trophy, before America cut her loose. It’s disturbing to see how much influence the judges have on viewer voting.

What others deserve it more? Jane has classical dance experience from when she was younger. She entered the Arts Educational for dance, music and theatre training when she was 13 and danced with the visiting Kirov Ballet at Covent Garden. She has more of an advantage than any of the others. The person who deserves this competition is the one who has been the most consistent and has performed the dances the best. I think we all know who that was.

I am glad Sabrina went home. Way too much of a unfair advantage. The others deserve it more because they have had to overcome more.
Furthermore, glad I don’t have to see the little porker in the skimpy dresses. COVER IT UP, GIRL!

I am glad Sabrina went home. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and mine is that she had too much overall dance training to be in this show. Everyone else has had to work to darn hard and they deserve it more.
Furthermore, I am tired of seeing that little porker in those tiny dresses. COVER IT UP!! Thank goodness America has some modesty and kicked her off.

Sabrina and Mark didn’t deserve to go home; they should have stayed! Mel B is right; Sabrina and Mark should ask for a recount! It makes me so mad that they got voted off when they were probably the best couple on Dancing with the Stars.

Sabrina was eliminated because she did not get the votes from her fans. My being older and haiving to be over 18 to vote online, didn’t even know who she was. Never heard of the cheetah girls. So I wasn’t interested in voting for her. She was a good dancer. I think she had more experience than most. I cannot say she was the best dancer of the show. That wouldn’t be fair for the remaining females left on the show. She came and went just like all the others before her. I don’t understand how some can be shocked she got voted off. I wasn’t shocked. I didn’t think she had the fan base to stay. I diffently thought Jane should have been in the bottom two. She has in my opinion overstayed her welcome. She needs to go. She dances why too careful. Don’t like her faster dances at all. She looked very thin in the jive. She needs to get elimanated so she can go home and try to put on some weight. She looked very thin and tired.

People think she was “too good” of a dancer to be on the show? Wake up….this is ballroom dancing. Cheetah Girls dance hip hop. Sabrina had to learn how to ballroom dance like the other couples. Yes she was good and had every right to compete with the other celebrities. Obviously this is a popularity contest and not based on dance performance. Sabrina danced much better than Jane Seymour, Jennie Garth and Marie Osmond. Come on voters, get a grip. I think the show should just eliminate the public voting and just go with the judge’s scores, who know 100 percent who should stay and who should be eliminated. Hats off to you Sabrina. You were definitely the best dancer out there. You proved it with the first perfect score ever from the judges. Now the couple who should win is Helio and Julia. Let’s keep it in focus now people.

I fell in love with this couple. They are such an all around force on the dance floor. I’ve never taken something from a tv show at heart. I’ve never even posted comments for anything. But, I was heartbroken by their elimination. It is needless to say it should not have happened but I have to accept the fact that they will no longer be on the show and will sorely miss them. However, I’m sure they realize that they have sparked something very special and I hope they continue to work their magic and share it with their fans.
Sabrina and Mark, thank you for giving us your all and I admire your graciousness despite the hurt.

I was so shocked, I just sat there in disbelief, I;v watched this show from season 1, and cut activities short so I could make it home in time. Now I will never watch it again. I had numerous friends that were tying to vote and could not even get thru.ABC made a HUGE mistake, they should for their own good recount!! Sabrina was robbed.

Really, people have to get a grip on this thing. America votes and that is how it works. She had professional dance training and should not have been in the competition. And she had a very cocky attitude if you ask me. I really did think Jane was going to get kicked off but was thrilled when it was Sabrina instead of Cameron!

This is SO WRONG!!! Sabrina was on track to win it all. She was undisputedly the best dancer this season, and by far the best female competitor in the history of Dancing With the Stars. She is a female Mario Lopez. America, when the judges gave her only slightly lower scores and more criticism than usual, that was your cue to VOTE and save her, not withhold votes based on the judges’ scores and comments. I voted as many times as I could for Sabrina, and I am devastated and outraged by this travesty. I am going to miss her and Mark in the competition; it will not be the same without them. Sabrina was robbed, and there was absolutely NO REASON for it.

Many comments are stated regarding Sabrina’s departure from DANCING WITH THE STARS. However, I am curious as to how many people who are upset and has expressed there feelings on this forum voted for her last week. Many of you probably did not vote and that’s the reason she is no longer in the competition, AMERICA. Don’t cry about spilled milk because it doesn’t change the unpleasant incident. :)
