O.J. Simpson has been released from jail, just hours after his first court appearance.

Simpson was released after posting $125,000 bail in connection with the armed robbery of sports memorabilia collectors at a Las Vegas hotel, which he called "a sting operation."

Vegas police called it assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and kidnapping, and Simpson is now facing life in prison if convicted.

Simpson may return to his Florida home, but he is not allowed to leave the country. A judge this morning ordered that he must return to Las Vegas when court proceedings resume.
