Parents Go Too Far with Angelina and Brad at Maddox's School

The entire world is infatuated with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their gorgeous clan – and not even New York’s swanky Upper East Side is immune from being starstruck.

An official from the elite Lycée Français de New York, where Maddox, 6, goes to school, has reportedly warned stargazing parents to give Brad and Angie some breathing room!

A letter to parents has reportedly asked that they refrain from taking pictures, asking for autographs or talking to the media. Apparently, parents have gone so far as to shout at Brad and Angie to get their attention as the couple bring Maddox to and from school.

All the attention has reportedly already affected the couple’s oldest son, who started class there on Sept. 4.

The New York Observer claims that Maddox got scared and started to cry when his kindergarten class was asked to bring in a picture of themselves. Apparently, he is terrified of having his picture taken.

However, Mad is reportedly a happy tot who is “always smiling.”

When are they going to settle in one place long enough for these kids to have real friends??? They can do their ‘good deeds’ from a central location and let the kid/kids have a normal, well as normal as it can be, life with friends they will know for longer than a couple months at a time.. It has only been a very short time since they were in New Orleans for a couple months.. Let the kid/kids stay in one school for an entire school year..

It is hard for me to understand why Brad and Angelina continue to create and fuel this situation at the school. Thousands of children go on the school bus every morning and every afternoon without having their parent walk them to the school door. Why can’t Brad and Angelina kiss and hug Maddoz at home and have the security guards take care of the rest? It is not really the other parents fault.

It would be great if they could just bring their child to school like an average person however, unfortunate as it may be they are not ordinary but the work that they do (not the movies) is a godsent to all of us in this world and I feel more people that are as affluent as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie should give 2% even of what they do imagine how much we could get accomplished it staggers the mind doesn’t it

I admire Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, and I’m in awe of their humanitarian work and philanthropy. Pitt just issued a challenge to leaders at the Clinton Global Initiave meeting to match his $5 Million donation to build 150 houses in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward - this is on top of Pitt’s earlier donation.

I LIKE THEM VERY MUCH BUT IF I SEE THEM WITH THEIR KIDS I BACK OFF. I SAY THIS BECAUSE I HAVE DONE IT ALREADY, HERE, IN NY.

I’m in the minority, of not being the LEAST bit in awe of them, or anything they do - never was. So much for sending the kids to a proper learning facility to give them the best education. The place must be filled w/ those as impressed w/ celebs as they are w/ themselves for enrolling the kids in a so-called ‘elite’ school - why, so they can brag about it at cocktail parties, while au pairs do the parents’ job? No thanks!
