Lindsay's Rehab Confidante: 'She's Getting Better Every Day'

“Extra” spoke exclusively to Tony Allen, the man rumored to have befriended Lindsay Lohan in rehab.

Allen recently checked out of the Utah rehab center where Lohan is currently a patient and said, "We’re great friends.”

He's shooting down rumors that Lindsay, who police said had a small amount of cocaine on her when she was arrested for DUI, failed a drug test while she was in treatment.

Allen said, “Positively, absolutely none of that is true!” He insisted that Lindsay has been a model patient.

“We share a common affliction, and we just talk about life sometimes," Allen revealed. "She’s getting better every day.”

As Lindsay continues to recover, Allen said she's determined to revive the promising career derailed by her battle with drugs and alcohol.

“She’s very healthy, very positive," he said. "She wants to present that to her public, to the people who care about her.”

Allen, who is one-half of the rock duo Dead Stays Alive, said that he and Lohan hit it off immediately.

“She’s a musician, so obviously that’s some common ground we had," he said.

He added, “We’re her favorite new band.” Allen’s band mate, Scott Mikell, would even invite Lindsay to join the band once she's out of rehab! He said, “Lindsay can come play guitar anytime she wants to.”

Lindsay is rumored to be leaving rehab next week.

You people are a serious waste of this earths consumption. I find it very sad for those of you to come here and post ” leave it alone and stop posting” when inevitably your just adding fuel to the fire like everyone else. To those of you who say your there friends, 99% of the posts I have read from you are not helping either party but only making things worse for them. If your truly there friend or immediate family they should already know the way you feel, you don’t have to express it here for the world to see.

Good Luck to both of you!

To Elizabeth,

Hello dear. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I hope that you realize she loved you very much. I can say this as a mother. Please do not loose hope in yourself. Use your strength from within to be determined in your life to make a better life! I am sure that is what your mother would have wanted. I think she would want you to be happy and make the most of everyday. I pray God’s greatest blessings on you. I pray that you will have strength, determination, will, love, and happiness. Lean on your counselors in school, find a church to belong to, (if you don’t have one already) lean on friends and be a part of school activities. I pray that you will be surrounded by love the rest of your life. You are a precious child of God.

From a mother who is heartbroken that you lost yours. My best to you my dear.

Stephs family

As far a talking out of both sides of my mouth. Still up with my blankey, past my bed time. All I’m saying is, no one knows what there marriage was like, except for them. They have two babies, that they need to think about. If it is together or apart, they need to come to some conclusion. No one is perfect. So sorry for not taking sides, like everyone else. And getting in on the bashing. My mommy taught me better than that. So, if being a decent person is bad, and thinking it’s no one’s business, than think what you want. I only wish the best for them both, on what ever they decide. Good night, it’s past my bedtime
I felt this should have stayed private.

Is it me or was I the only person to notice that Tony wasn’t wearing his wedding band?
Just an observation.

I’ve known Tony since the day he was born. I was there the day he married Steph. (Steph was the most beautiful bride ever. She was even prettier when she was pregnant.) She stood by Tony’s side at his father’s funeral. Tony and his father were close — I can only imagine what he went through. This is a very difficult time for them. Instead of bashing Tony, we need to step back and pray that God grants them the strength to make it through this difficult time. We all make mistakes.

Tony and Steph, your family is here if you need us. We love both of you! Sherry

I hope Lindsay Lohan gets better soon along with anyone suffering from addiction. My mom died this year from drugs. My dad’s on drugs and I have to live in foster care. I never want to be on drugs. I am so sad and I wish there were no drugs in the world. I know everything can’t be great in life all the time atleast thats what grown ups tell me. but it really stinks not having my mom here. she couldn;t stop drugs. she tried alot of times.

So, True Story…you do make some good points, but haven’t you had to say “I’m sorry” for something you have done in the past? And didn’t you hope that whomever had to forgive you? He is not saying sorry to you but to those he hurt in the process. He has two wonderful responsibilities that he is taking responsiblity for…other than that, what difference does it make what he does and how he does it if it doesn’t hurt or affect you? My point is that I do know both parties…they both are great people if you know them, mistakes and all. We are all human and hopefully adults here, so we need to act like it. All this rumor stuff and talking about people that we have no business to is all high school b.s. We all should take it with a grain of salt and go about our own damn lives and stop trying to live others. Just let Tony and Stephanie be, let them deal with this situation. It makes it hard when you have so many people giving advice (most of it wrong) or talking about them, trashing both of them on websites is hard for them. Who is to say that when all the healing is done, and later down the road that they don’t end up back together? None of us knows what to say or do unless you are or have been in the exact same situation that they are all in now. As far as acting like a 20-something…what are the age ranges in individuals in all genre’s of music out there? How do you know that Stephanie didn’t support Tony in him wanting to be in a band. He is not doing it for money, fame or to feel like a young, unresponsible man again but to express himself. If you know Tony, he is not broke by any means, he lives comfortable (even without Stephanie). He has gone through a lot in the past couple years, so has Stephanie….we don’t need to add to their demise by posting negative attitudes towards them but to be compassionate that they both are human and dealing with a real and serious situation between the two of them. So, unless you are Tony or Stephanie…don’t act like you know the truth or the whole story because chances are you don’t. Who would have thought that so many people’s lives are so incomplete and boring that they would try to involve themselves in others’ painful experiences?! Let them heal and move on from this..if this was you, wouldn’t you want to?

I guess an ‘I am sorry’ is supposed to make everything better? Not really. Those on both sides defending someone they care about, even if you do not have a (Go) dawg in the fight, good for you. Standing up for someone you care about is indicative to your quality of character.
I just hope you have your facts straight. If I had to pick what was probably the demise of Tony’s marriage—- which in his ‘Official Statement’ he laid blame to addiction—— I would probably pick the music and/or other women… which seem to go hand in hand… and hey, if you are a recovering, unfaithful, addict, I think the music biz is right were you need to be to stay on the right path. Who ever heard of finding strength in your family when you can lean on your agent and the lead singer?
Tony speaks and writes well, but if you take out all the fancy words, all you have is an excuse for him to act 20, with no responsibilities’, or have accountability for his actions, and try and make it in a band.
True story.

I believe that yes, Tony did make a mistake with certain things in life. But don’t we all? Before we point fingers, we should all make sure that our own hands are clean. Make it what you want to, if you are so bothered by what Tony does, why let it affect your life so bad…why take the time to comment and obsess about it all. I do know Tony, I have nothing against him. He is human just as I am, just as we all are. I also know Stephanie, and I have nothing against her. I like the both of them. He is living his own life and has to account for his own actions, so leave it as that. Who are we to judge, becaue in the end…God can only judge and has the final say so in our destiny.

It is so expected to have so many people commenting for both parties here. But what I don’t understand is the simple fact that the most obvious point has not been stated.
1. A man that had a wife and BRAND new BABIES cheated on his wife. Addiction is a disease, and it is a terrible thing. But at the end of the day, you make that choice. Addiction does not. Right and Wrong is inherent. You make the choice for better or for worse, and you (Tony) made it so ‘for worse’ you left no choice for your WIFE.
It is also inherent to displace blame. I think I might try that trick the next time I do something wrong. “I’m sorry officer, I couldn’t help but to speed, it’s a disease, I have an addiction.” Hmmmm, why haven’t I ever thought of that before? Of course that will work!
I do not really accept Tony’s apology because it is all smoke and mirrors. If you do something wrong, when you say ‘I’m truly sorry’, don’t have foot notes. Ex: “I’m sorry… but it’s really not my fault. You see addiction encouraged me to break my marriage vows… it’s a disease….” Yeah, not buying it.
I always thought Tony was a stand up guy, right up until he chose to wear make up and play dress up at the age of 39 and pretend that being a manufactured famous band guy was more important than love and family.
So kudos on being selfish, self absorbed and ulterior motivated. Fantastic qualities you hide well with your bandanas and eyeliner. And cheers to your unauthentic 15 minutes of very pretend fame.

Tony keep your head up and move forward. This has to be a tough time in your life right know but remember your children. At the end of the day they will be the most important part of your life. We are going to miss you on the flag football scene.

Your 41, right? But seriously people, if you know what kind of person he is and that he just wants his 15 minutes, stop adding fuel to the fire! Karma is a wonderful thing and he will soon get his.

Stephanie, I’m truly sorry about all of this, and if you need anything, you know by now who your “true friends” are!

This is all old news now. Tony has had his fifteen minutes of fame and it’s a long way down.
Little Girl Lola…go back to school and learn to spell and also learm what it takes to write without mistakes. Your punchuation sucks! You’re definitely immature in both areas. I can see why Tony would flirt with you.
