Apologies are nice, but they don’t change what you do. I’ve heard these feeble words before — usually not backed by action — it seems “I’m sorry” and “I love you” often come from the desire to not have those who you’ve stomped all over be angry or upset with you. Words spoken simply to give you what you the positive attention you want. Words are meaningless without action to support it. Tony, I feel for those you have hurt by your self-serving behavior. I hope you can put yourself in their shoes (really how’d you feel if your wife had an addiction - and you had to put up with all the garbage that comes with it - had cheated on you after you stood by her?) I wish you luck in trying to pursue a life based on honesty and integrity.
