Kevin Federline: 'I'm Trying to Help People Out'

“Extra” was the only camera crew with Kevin Federline over the weekend at the Doctors Without Borders charity event, where Kevin opened up about the cause closest to his heart.

“I’m here to support a great cause. Slowly but surely, I’m trying to help people out," he said. "I’ve got kids. People aren’t as fortunate as us.”

Kevin is also putting his energy into an acting career; he's still shooting his guest spot on The CW's "One Tree Hill."

“I’ve had a great time doing it," K-Fed said. "The more opportunities that I get, the more I find myself coming into the acting world. I love it. I didn’t really know I’d have as much fun as I did doing it.”

The producers have written him in to three episodes, and Federline said he's hoping for more.

“I’ve shot two already. I’ve got to go out and shoot one more," he said. "Who knows? We’ll see where it takes me.”

As to whether or not acting will become his new focus, Federline insisted, “I like doing it all. Music is a passion to me. I’m finding my passion in acting right now, revealing, "Man, I kick my feet up, get a little martini and sit out by the pool with my kids!”

K-Fed is so universally hated for the same reason Paris Hilton is hated: because the closest thing he did to earn his level of fame was screw someone (metaphorically AND literally). His claim to fame was marrying Britney Spears, then he comes out acting like some big shot celebrity.

This charity appearance was just a publicity stunt, and the motivation is the custody battle. He’s trying to make himself look good so a judge will give him custody of Britney’s children, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out he’s just looking for Britney to write him another check to make him go away.

Shameless backstabbing and a completely undeserved sense of entitlement: THAT is why he’s so hated.
