Joey Fatone on Britney: 'Something Needs to be Done Before Anything Tragic Happens'

“Extra" sat down with Joey Fatone to chat about this weekend’s TV Guide Emmy Party, and Joey got candid about his longtime pal, Britney Spears.

“Wow, it was interesting. I felt bad, but didn’t. It looked like she was really lost," he said. "A lot of people really want her to seek help. There’s something not right there, something needs to obviously be done before anything tragic happens. She’s a great girl. I’ve known her for many years.”

As for rumors about an N'Sync reunion, Fatone reveals, “Everyone is still doing their own thing…it’s a matter of getting the five of us together.”

He continues, “You never know. Once everyone has a break from all the stuff they are doing, it’s always a possibility, maybe two or three years down the road.”

When are we going to learn that the media blows things out of proportion and that you can’t believe everything you read? Plus, I don’t know of anybody who could live in the fishbowl that Britney has been living in and come out looking perfect to all around her…especially to the people who stand to make money off of a story that shows her flaws. Maybe she does need help right now- maybe a life coach or a doctor or maybe people praying for her and loving her unconditionally instead of gossipping uncontrollably!

Wow….It is so sad as to how many of you people out there are so sure of your so-called “predictions” on Brittneys personal or non-personal life. Even if
she were to be over, alone, and done for, she still “inspired” your “mind” or you would not be on here giving your opinions about her in one way or a “wicked” other. Oh well, I cant help but notice the TYPE of people out there in this world who always look for that “pot of gold” at the end of the rainbow, and not once do they ever stop to notice the colors that it has to offer. (Brittney already sang you a song, and SHE did show you all how to dance.)H_ll, she cant help it if you dumb _ss people did’nt learn anything. Better yet, she’s the FAME, and she dont have to know your f_ _ king name. RUN BRITTNEY
RUNNNNNNNNNN!

Ever since I read about the day that Britney was “driving around aimlessly for two hours” with her children in the car, all I could think was, “Dear God, Susan Smith…”. I agree totally with everyone who says she needs help. In this country, if you are capable of harming yourself or others, mandated reporters need to step in and collectively report this to CPS. Even if it’s redundant, the more concerned reports, the more CPS has to pay attention. My heart hurts for her, her children and my head wonders where the hell her family is in all this.

I think the first post is right on the money. She had two kids very quickly, and with her fast paced lifestyle, I think she has depression issues too. I’m a mom of three and after one child you get blue. I feel bad for her and her kids. She needs to get help now, the kids need to stay with someone for now until she gets treated. Aren’t there any doctors out there that can see this? Chemical imbalance. Help her.

THANK YOU! I posted something to this effect days ago in a nother Britney-related story(Simon on Britney)- READ BELOW:

BRITNEY’S MENTAL STATE IS NOT NORMAL. She needs help QUICKLY. I’m not trying to be mean, this is reality.

EXTRA, if you guys can get Dr. Phil or someone to work with Britney before it’s too late. I’m not a fan of hers, but I’m very concerned. She may have depression and that is not being addressed enough in the media. I think the media should focus on her mental state and getting help for it, vs. how bad she did at the VMAs. We know she is capable of doing a lot better.

Britney, first needs to work with healing in her “head.” I STRONGLY BELIEVE, she is borderline psychotic and needs therapy. I am very nervous because from what I am reading from those close to her, one minute she’s laughing and the next she’s crying. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. She might be suffering from depression from having the 2 kids and never got treated for it, which explains the very weird behavior.

Once all of that is taken care of, then she can start concentrating on her career. But first, she needs psychiatric help before she does anything to harm herself.

When was the last time Joey FATone had any contact with Britney Spears? Please. If she is in fact in trouble she needs her family and close friends to step in. She doesn’t need the pity and concern of some former boy bander who now does reality tv and who most likely hasn’t had any contact with her in years!

Yeah, like Britney Spears herself getting out of the spotlight for good—-voluntarily, before she gets
forced out of the spotlight, by her own worried family!
