Britney to Make a TV Apology at the Emmys?

Britney Spears may be back to say “I’m sorry” just days after her VMA bomb.

“Extra” has learned the pop princess may take the stage again, pulling a primetime mea culpa at this year’s Emmy Awards to apologize for her comeback fiasco.

This led Ryan Seacrest to say, “We’re just going to take a time out from the Emmys to welcome Britney to say a few words? I don’t know. Maybe, maybe it’s going to happen.”

Us magazine's Albert Lee told us, “FOX is not reaching out to her through her manager or her record label. They are reaching out to the Spears camp directly.”

Emmy producers told “Extra” they can’t confirm or deny the rumored Britney offer. Us has also learned Brit’s family will allegedly stage an intervention to try and send the troubled pop princess back to rehab.

But “Extra” has learned Jamie Lynn can’t even reach her big sister by phone.

Last night, a somber K-Fed was spotted out in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, we’ll have to wait for Sunday night to see if Britney will give us more.

The Emmy’s should not waste their time on this loser, apologize for screwing up her life. I thought the Emmy’s had class, if they do this it’s just plaine wrong.

It is crap that she is getting this much empathy ……. she KNEW what she had to do and she CHOSE to party instead - this was her CHOICE to perform with little sleep, no time for reheasrsal - now there are consequences and one must pay the piper. Self inflicted injury.

It must have been really hard to walk on

Producers” are having her back on the
show to flavor their own cup of soup!
Brittney is still the spice, should’nt
the “Emmy’s” be a little nice. This
whole world needs a d_ _ “oil change”, and the people in it need a “change of heart”.
And I also think the “Emmy Producers”
should buy Brittney another pair of shoes
with matching underwear…(to show they
are THANKFUL to have her at the Emmy’s)!

The primetime Emmy Awards doesn’t need Britney ‘the train wreck’ Spears on the show at all.
I wish this was a joke, and I hope the Emmy awards people will back away from the flop princess, since she’s a stinker.
This is a really dumb decision by the prime time Emmys.
