Breaking News on Farrah Fawcett's Cancer Battle

“Extra” has breaking new details on Farrah Fawcett’s cancer battle.

The former “Charlie’s Angel” took a second trip to Germany for extensive cancer treatments that were unavailable in the United States.

Farrah’s friend Craig Nevius, who produced and directed her hit reality show “Chasing Farrah,” tells “Extra” that the brave actress has asked him to film her journey through treatment and recovery for a possible documentary.

“You need to have a strong heart and a positive mind and a positive outlook in order to fight the fight and that is exactly what she's doing,” he says.

Nevius adds, “If you do your job right as a reality show producer, you end up a part of somebody's life, and that's what’s happened to me with ‘Chasing Farrah.’”

Today “Extra” has learned that another of Farrah’s good friends, Cher, has been by her side. Pal Alana Stewart also made the trip to Europe to be with Farrah.

A source close to Farrah revealed that her longtime love Ryan O’Neal wasn’t able to join her for her most recent treatment at a south German clinic. He’s in Los Angeles shooting the Fox drama “Bones.”

Still, Nevius says Farrah is feeling more support than ever from family, fans and fellow cancer survivors.

“She’s gotten letters from thousands who have thanked her for her strength for her positive example,” he says.

Farrah just had another positive move in her direction – she won a victory in her fight against the tabloids. They have agreed to take down negative stories about the star from their websites.

Meanwhile, fans are rooting for her as she continues to fight the good fight.

Dearest Farrah,
I was aware you were ill back when you let the public know you have fallen to cancer.
You have decided to do a dear thing by letting the people follow you in your treatment. When I saw it advertised on television to be on air I wondered why, why do this, this way? It is so private.
I was thinking about it for days and I see now why.Your story is a poem, and this is the way your writting it.
I am from Houston,Texas.I lived in Austin, Texas for a year. When everything went “Farrah” hair, so did I.
It’s funny how life and all these little things we all were about seems to make us look back and laugh at how close we all really are.
You please walk and embrace, live and love, we are all still there.
I had written a poem about 13 years ago when I lost my little brother.
Be it a poem,or a television documentary it is the same.My little brother, if he had life to do agin he’d try his best to save everyone else, that’s the way he was.
The fight for life. Many people out there take it for granted.”Life”,it is precious.
As I type this I fight the tears back.Your one of my 3 sisters really, sister number 4.
Love you Farrah,from Becky

Farrah,
I just want you to know that so many people in this world are rooting for you to beat this. My dad was just diagnosed today with rectal cancer. His CAT scan is tomorrow to see if it has spread. It is so frightening. I reminded him about your disease and it truly helped him control his fear. You actually helped make him very brave. Thank you.

Farrah,
I too was discovered with anal cancer just one week after you in 2006. It was supposed to be a 6-week battle with chemo and radiation that turned into 6 months. Spent the month of December in the hospital…the cancer nearly took my life. As far as I know, I am still cancer free. Had a CT scan yesterday 12/12/07. Will find out the results Monday. Thinking of you!

My sister was declared “cancer free” a month ago. She had ovarian cancer. Now, after surgery for an intestinal blockage, they told her that her cancer was back and that she had a month or two to live….my God. However, she is not willing to give up and continues the fight. They started chemo, again, and she is determined by both medical help and the help of God to defeat this…she is only 54 years old and honestly, one of the “good” people….she has always, and continues to be, one of the most giving, loving people you can meet…I believe in miracles and she will be one of them!

Farrah: Today, there is no excuse for anyone losing the fight with cancer. There are positive cures for every known form of cancer. One of the most versatile and effective therapies is electrotherapy. If you are unfamiliar with electrotherapy, do yourself a gigantic favor and look into it. Google (cancer + electrotherapy) and (cancer + “Beck protocol”). We all love you. God speed!!

Farrah:

Thank you so much for setting a courageous example to us all! I think it’s amazing how strong, feisty, and positive you remain throughout all this. Keep up the good fight! My prayers to you, your friends, and family during this time. Please share with the public any treatments you receive that thwart and kill the cancer besides chemotherapy and radiation. I lost my mother to cancer last year, and those treatments actually made her worse. Thanks again so much!!

Farah: PLEASE share what kind of treatment you are getting in Germany. I’m desperately seeking some sort of alternative treatment and am in a hurry to find answers. There’s ozone therapies in Germany. Is this what you’re doing. Please share and help save others. You are looking so very well.
