Breaking News on Farrah Fawcett's Cancer Battle

“Extra” has breaking new details on Farrah Fawcett’s cancer battle.

The former “Charlie’s Angel” took a second trip to Germany for extensive cancer treatments that were unavailable in the United States.

Farrah’s friend Craig Nevius, who produced and directed her hit reality show “Chasing Farrah,” tells “Extra” that the brave actress has asked him to film her journey through treatment and recovery for a possible documentary.

“You need to have a strong heart and a positive mind and a positive outlook in order to fight the fight and that is exactly what she's doing,” he says.

Nevius adds, “If you do your job right as a reality show producer, you end up a part of somebody's life, and that's what’s happened to me with ‘Chasing Farrah.’”

Today “Extra” has learned that another of Farrah’s good friends, Cher, has been by her side. Pal Alana Stewart also made the trip to Europe to be with Farrah.

A source close to Farrah revealed that her longtime love Ryan O’Neal wasn’t able to join her for her most recent treatment at a south German clinic. He’s in Los Angeles shooting the Fox drama “Bones.”

Still, Nevius says Farrah is feeling more support than ever from family, fans and fellow cancer survivors.

“She’s gotten letters from thousands who have thanked her for her strength for her positive example,” he says.

Farrah just had another positive move in her direction – she won a victory in her fight against the tabloids. They have agreed to take down negative stories about the star from their websites.

Meanwhile, fans are rooting for her as she continues to fight the good fight.

If you would like to leave a message for Farrah, post your comments here.

I have always admired Farrah Fawcett for a long time, as far back as Charlie’s Angels. She is such a beautiful lady & I have always heard nothing but good things about her! I am so very sorry about her fight with cancer. I am praying for her that she will win this battle! I pray that this message will get to her to encourage her! I have heard about a hospital that specializes in the treatment of cancer. The name of it is “Cancer Treament Centers of America.” They have about (5) hospitals across the USA and I see a lot of positive advertisements on TV about this hospital! Their slogan is ” Winning the Battle Against Cancer Everyday!” They not only treat the cancer but the whole body and spirit! More information can be obtained by going on the internet & “google” Cancer Treatment Centers of America” to find a location near her. Please, please, please pass this information on to her, as I could not find her e-mail address. Hopefully, with prayer & good hospitals this battle will be won!

The name of the clinic in Germany is called “Klinik im Alpenpark”. It is in Bad Weissee, Germany…about an hour south of Munich. I am sitting in the klinik now with my husband who is fighting stage 4 colon cancer. It has been 4 years. He was dx at age 32 with no symptoms!!! Dr. Ursula Jacob is the most amazing and kind person I have known in the medical world. Good luck!!!!

Hi Farrah,
I am so glad you sought treatment at the alternative clinic in germany and had success. My good friend Brenda, who has Hodgkins Lymphoma just finsihed 8 chemo treatments at Cedars in Beverly Hills and they didn’t work very well. She is leaving for the Issels Medical Center in Carpenteria California tomorrow to start the Issels Immunotherapy program. She is looking forward to it and has a lot of faith that it will work for her. I know you are doing a documentary of your Germany Treatment and just wanted you to know that there is a Issels Medical Center in Carpenteria California where Dr. Issels Jr. is the main physician. If you need any other examples of how the alternative treatment works of the documentary, my friend may be interested. I am so gald that you are doing this. This country needs a comprehensive/complimentary and holistic approach to treating cancer. I am a massage therapist at the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel.
Thank you and you can contact me any time.

Farrah: When I was in my 20s, Charlie’s Angels was on the air. I remember you even before that on some TV ads - your beautiful smile and hair. I remember wanting to look like you. You are still beautiful today, in mind and body. I loved Ryan on Peyton Place and Love Story. Yours was, and still is, the love we all want to experience. I think about you often and pray for you to win this battle of all battles. You are loved by many!

Farrah, good luck to you. There are many survivors out there, and you will be one of them. I too am a survivor. Treatments are rough, but in the end, they work wonders. You are a lovely lady and I wish you a full and complete recovery.

Farrah:

Keep fighting the disease outside of the U.S. as necessary. Pray and leave it all in God’s hands.

I work in a hospital and I truly have seen miracles.

All the best to you.

I was diagnosed with anal cancer 7/07 and went thru the chemo/rad tx too which ended 8/31/07. I will have my 44th b-day 2/29/08. My 6 mo. f/u appts are 3/08. The CA was in my lymph node and it shrunk, and not active at this point. I work in the hospital & see CA pts frequently. I am aware of how it can come back. I am amazed at the strength of these people & in turn strengthens me. I continued to work thru the treatments xcept for when vomiting became an issue a time or two. My prayers are w/you..we are in this one together so to speak. May all go well for you.

Dear Farrah:
Never give up. There are so many treatments out there the USA has banned…my guess is if we all lived a long, long time it would cost the governments too much money, irradicate so many Dr visits, put researchers out of work, the BIG PHARMA’s would not be so flush…The is Issels, Gerson, Stem Cell, Ralph Moss does a great report for the best treatment for the specific type a person has…I know three long term survivors of pancreatic cancer who did Gerson…two of who are Canadians who went to Mexico, not to mention the long list of others with many other types,
God Bless you Farrah,
Praying for you.
Find a therapy that works and stick with it…look into Gerson Plus or Gerson…if followed it can make one a survivor,
Jayne
