All you haters please stop…One embarrasing performance does NOT make or break your career. She’ll be back stronger and with more confidence. The song wasn’t bad, it was a typical Britney song. It had an ok beat. It was a lot better than some of the crap they call music these days. And I agree with everyone else about MTV that they set her up to fail…she wasn’t ready. She needs to hear something positive, not hurtful words insulting her physical appearance and her kids. But she put herself in the position to fail by making it her ‘mission’ while in Las Vegas to be all about the partying instead of practicing her routine. There’s plenty of time AFTER the job is done to party.The party will ALWAYS be there, just different faces. She needs to put it down long enough to give herself a chance to get back to basics. See you on the UP side Britney…you’ll come back stronger.

Sarah silverman totally dissed Britney’s kids. I think that it was absolutly rude of her to be able to make a joke out of someone elses kids. As for MTV, I want to say that they totally made it seem like it was going to be the greatest show of all time but they totally mislead everyone and tried to get as much viewers as possible by using Britney. She has done so much for MTV that they did not have to do this to her. She deserves better. GOOD LUCK BRITNEY!!!

Being a working mother, as well, she shouldn’t come off as cocky as she does if she can’t back it up. She’s brought the bulk of her recent predicaments up on her own. Can’t feel sorry for her.

mtv probably told her that they gonna make it look good but they did all the opposite.and then when she saw what was happening she acted nervous …
she handled professionally and for that i applaud her!

btw the press made fun of her for her weight issues. I feel she looks great, especially for having 2 babies!! BUT the outfit was not a good choice for her body style!!! She should have covered up!!!!!

She is a mom of 2. She needs to behave like one. If her life wasn’t in a tailspin, I would feel differently. But it IS in a tailspin. She needs to think of her MENTAL health first, kids 2nd then her career and THEN relationships with men. She is 25 years old, and needs to BEHAVE like it!!

The show was awful because she did NOT practice enough. I’ve seen plenty pictures of her out partying the week before the VMAs when obviously she should have been practicing/spending time with her kids.
