I would think SOMEONE on the staff would think that you shouldn’t be doing a story in which a host’s husband is the surgeon.

Don’t you think it is a little much that you are doing a story and her husband is the plastic surgeon. A bit of a conflict of interest — what great PR. Not saying that he probably needs it.

Oh, and that “ashamed” content — even if you feel that way, would think you wouldn’t say it in TV, since averaage person can’t afford this type of thing.

All these shows all seem to be just pushing more consumer consumption…

Dayna,
I am so amazed that you did this story. How could you? To say that you were ashamed of your body? The most natural thing in this world caused “that body”. You also said you felt ugly. How dare you? We are trying to change America’s view on body image and you use the word “ugly”… You may be fortunate enough to work in entertainment and be married to a plastic surgeon but you were very insensitive with this report. You come across as competely vain and I am very disappointed in you and the network. There are millions of women who “live” with their “ugly” bodies and you just made then feel terrible. I am ashamed of you.

Awesome Dana! Life is too short not to be happy with our bodies. We spend money to fix other things like braces on our teeth, yet women are made to feel bad for trying to maintain their looks. It’s ridiculous! If you are able to fix something, then do it!
