Pre-Arrest Lindsay: 'I Would Never Drink and Drive'

Lindsay Lohan’s new Elle Magazine cover is about to hit stands, but it’s not her glamorous pictures that are making headlines.

It’s Lindsay’s ironic insistence, pre-arrest, that she would never drink and drive.

In the issue, on stands August 7, Lindsay says, “They're (the paparazzi) looking for me to, like, trip, so they can be like, 'Oh, Lindsay's wasted and driving drunk.' And that's not it. I wouldn't violate... I'm much more responsible than that. I would not do that."

Just hours later, Lindsay was arrested for her first DUI over Memorial Day weekend, which was followed by a quick trip to rehab, another DUI arrest and charges of drug possession.

And there’s another photo shoot shocker – representatives from Elle tell “Extra” that Lindsay took hundreds of dollars worth of Louis Vuitton clothing from the photo shoot, ruining her chances of being the new face of Louis Vuitton.

I don’t think this girl knows how fortunate she is. She could have such a great life. She is very spoiled and needs to wake up before she kills herself or someone else.

Lindsey Lohan has some major problems and I’m not talking just her legal ones. She is one sick woman. Her constant need for attention is fueled by a mother who is and has been in denial mode for years. Of course living off her daughters income she has to pretend LL is just a young woman having fun. She NEEDS someone around all the time and that is a clear indication that she needs more than just help with her alcoholism. If she doesn’t get help now for all her mental problems we will be reading her obituary in a few years if not sooner. Her mother needs to become a mother, not her friend, before it’s too late. All LL’s actions are a cry for help and I hope someone with an ounce of common sense is listening.

Lindsay brings it all upon her arrogant, selfish little self. I have no sympathy anymore. All this bad press and negative stories about her hopefully will humble the little witch so she can become tolerable again. She obviously thought she was untouchable and above everyone else. How’s reality feel, Lilo??

Wow! Can anyone else be so starved for attention?! In a world of “everyone is special,” how does one actually show it? Obviously for Ms. Lohan it’s through her obnoxious, blatant disrespect for the property and owners of such property around her. Chasing someone in a car? Pulling a hit and run (literally, no less), and being a complete hypocrite? When will Ms. Lohan realise that to be famous one has to have exposure? At this point, I don’t think the adage, “there’s no such thing as bad press,” is accurate. Too much is too much. Time to stop resting on your laurels, Lindsay, and prove to the rest of the world that you’re not the spoiled brat that everyone thinks you are.

i always feel bad for her when i hear new headlines, she’s in this all alone. Unlike P.hilton and all those other (kardashian)whores, her parents are not rich stable people. They are not parents who have pt anyting good towards there child for a number of years now. These other girls family’s have always had money, the should know how to act in the spotlight, should be told by there parents, hey look you know what’s going to happen if you do that, instead they baske in the drama their childern create in hollywood. Lindsay has no one to fall back on but herself, the only person loosing mone when she looses work is lindsay, she’s got no positive level head to give her advice, and that is all a girl her age really needs. someone who is only gt the linddsay’s interset in mind, it doesn’t even have to be that it could just be a good person somone truely good to talk to. How n=many people like that are lef in the world, really. Also, someone should take those parents of hers a tie them up so she can scream all the crap she wants at them till they get the picture.

I can see Elle giving the impression, that she could take items, to Lohan that since it was only a few hundred dollars worth of clothing and since they still want her to be the new face of Louis V. And also it does stink when caught eating words like I’d never do that. She was just trying to make the right impression. under age drinking probation might have helped sooner
