Nicole Spends 82 Minutes in Jail, Just Enough Time for Fingerprinting and a Mug Shot

Nicole Richie managed to sneak in and out of jail Thursday in just 82 minutes, away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

“Extra” spotted the jail-bound starlet running some last-minute errands with boyfriend and rumored fiancé Joel Madden before turning herself in.

The pregnant star dropped her dogs off at the vet and picked up coffee from McDonald’s.

But it turns out Nicole never spent one second behind bars!

She was in custody for only an hour and a half, just enough time to get fingerprinted and have her mug shot taken.

Last night, Celebtv.com spotted Paris Hilton and got this message to her pregnant BFF: “I love you Nicole!”

But today outrage is growing over the celebrity scorecard.

Paris Hilton served 23 days out of a 45-day sentence, Nicole served 82 minutes and Lindsay Lohan will serve just one day in jail for two DUIs.

But if any of these bad girls of summer violates probation, they can expect a much longer sentence behind bars.

Why are the bars the under age celeb kids are going into still in business?
They should lose their license. and their parents should be more responsible for their under age kids too. put them all in jail. and make them be in with the rest of the inmates. NO SPECIAL TREATMENT means you get put in with the other prisioners.

They should have left her in there. 82 minutes in jail does not even count to a slap on the wrist. I hate to think how she is going to raise her own child. She’s a disgrace to society.

It goes to show that money talks. If that was anyone else that wasn’t famous they would still be behind bars. How is Nicole, Paris or Lindsay being a role model for their younger fans. I definietly don’t want my kids looking up to them.

It takes a good attorney to
negotiate a case in chambers and with the D.A.. Well, these girls have the money to afford a “dam good” attorney.

Of course, there are some good PUBLIC DEFENDERS too, that wiil get a poor person a good deal. I know. I got a “dam good” deal from a PUBLIC DEFENDER before, and I got out the same day I went to court.

Another thing, the criminal justice system and the GENERAL PUBLIC do NOT want to hang substance abuse, as long as the individual is “NON-VIOLENT” and wants treatment. Plus, the institutions are full and costing TAX PAYERS too much unecessary money.
