Nicole Richie has confirmed her pregnancy, but we caught her talking babies back in April 2006!
While promoting season four of the now-cancelled 'The Simple Life,' Nicole divulged that she "cannot wait" to have kids. Three girls and twin boys to be exact!
Nicole told us that twins don't run in her family but it seems she's found a solution! Her baby's father Joel Madden is the identical twin to his brother Benji, both of who are in the rock band Good Charlotte.

congratulations nicole! im so happy for you and joel.. i know it’s not easy of what you’re going thru right now especially that your every move is being followed by the press/paparazzi and all the gossip about you, joel and even about you unborn child—of course that does not help either.. hang in there .. i remember when i first saw you on tv with paris during the first season of simple life, i was in the philippines at that time—it was rediculous.. you have a natrual talent and a great sense of humor.. love it!! i qoute you everyday at work and i make people laugh by doing so lol! well goodluck with everything.. wishing you and you unborn baby good health… be safe.. :-)

Why can’t you people lay off Nicole?! NO….she isn’t the most healthy person in the world and saying things like “OMG….SHE ISN’T PREGANANT SHE IS JUST SICK”. Congratulations Nicole! Babies are a beautiful gift from God! Be good to yourself and your baby! Love yourself and your baby! Cheap talk from others is just that! Try to ignore it and focus on you and yours! I was anorexic for years, weighing only 78 lbs when I got pregnant with my daughter, who is now 26. During my pregnancy, I ate healthy and got healthy. And I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl! People need to understand Anorexia is an illness!! And all the gossip, and ridicule etc. does nothing but contribute to the illness and make it harder for the person suffering from it! Love, Compassion and the Lord are what someone with this illness needs! I continued to struggle with it “after” my daughters birth, and finally with the above mentioned got control of my life, my body, my health when my daughter was about 13 yrs old. God Bless you and your baby Nicole! I will be praying for you both!

I was an anorexic when I got pregnant with my 1st child. Weighing only 78 lbs. I very much wanted my baby girl, and got healthy and stayed healthy all through my pregnancy! I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl 26 years ago. Staying healthy for me afterwards was a struggle. Anorexia is an “illness” I finally with the help of the Lord overcame the illness when my daughter was about 13. So, Nicole, be good to yourself and your baby, Love yourself and your baby!
