Nick Hogan: Pray for My Friend

Nick Hogan, in his first public words since Sunday’s horrific Florida car crash, is asking people to “focus your prayers” on his critically injured passenger.

On his MySpace page, Nick, 17, writes, “I want to thank everyone who has sent their support to me. Right now I would like to ask all of you to focus your prayers on my friend John.”

John Graziano, 22, is still in a Florida hospital. Reports say Graziano, a Marine reportedly just back from Iraq, is in critical condition.

Nick was released from the hospital yesterday after crashing his Toyota Supra at a “high rate of speed” and wrapping it around a tree.

No charges have been filed, but the case remains under investigation.

Nick, the son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, is a professional driver in a drift circuit, which is similar to drag racing. However, officials say there was no evidence Nick was racing another car at the time of the crash.

Everyone makes mistakes, and John and Nick are equal in who is to blame. John willingly got in that car, chose not to wear a seatbelt and knew what risks he was taking. I wish people would smarten up and stop singaling out Nick. They are (or were) both idiotic young men who made a big mistake.

I just want to say that Im really sorry for this horrible situation! My prayers go out to the young man in the hospital! But OMG people Im sitting here reading your comments and cant believe what Im reading you say that people need to see past the fame but your not how hypicritical…Ive people that something like this has happen to and even they got more simpathy…I think the Hogan family is a wonderful family who loves each other and believes in one another! and when your a teenager you do think that your invincible, and no matter how great your parents and up bringing is sometimes not always enough. Sometimes, unfortunitly it takes a real serious event to open your eyes and realize WOW what in the world am I doing! NOT that IM not trying to excuse what happened, absolutly Nick was in the wrong, but that doesnt make him the bad guy. Unfortunatly someone did get seriously hurt and thats never easy I know! but I bet it wont be one he makes again and I bet you he will grow as person from this… and I pray this young man recovers as well..He didnt derserve this no one does..Nick if you actually read this I just want to say I hope you see your wrong and can grow from this and mature a little more because your a wonderful person who is lucky to a have a family as yours that many kids in this world does not have.. dont take that for granted You must understand that your parents arent trying to ruin your fun its just love Thats all it is is love and they want to be proud of you and I think all that should matter to you is your family because in the end there always there and their the best thing that has ever happened to you dont dont dont ever take that for granted! Thats what youth needs these days is support and trust when no one else is willing to believe in them!

Here we go again with another celebrity child in trouble. Does anyone see a pattern here. If he were anyone other than Hulk Hogans son he would have been charged and arrested for what happened. I feel for and pray for the family of the boy who was hurt, and I also pray that Hulk Hogan will set his son straight, make him accept the responsibilty of his actions, thats the only way he will learn. Children with parents who are famous or have loads of money think they are above the law and the law backs that up, this craziness has to stop!!! Someone could have died, or worse still might, then what?

This was not an isolated incident, this is a pattern of reckless behavior. Nick has been pulled over several timed before for excessive speeding. He was doing 120 mph in a 70 mph zone. There is no need to drive faster then 80-90 mph in the united states ever. He should not have been allowed access to these high performance vehicles given his record. I think his parents should be charged with vehicular homicide since he is only 17.

FLORIDA Police n Courts

What will it take for you to get this Celebrity Kid off the streets.? Does he need TO KILL someone before you do your JOBS n REVOKE his license.
IF this was the average joe, this wouldn’t take long at all. Charges would have been file the frist night.
WE THE AVERAGE JOES WANT EQUAL JUSTICE.

P.S. It’s not like you haven’t given him 4 chances already

I totally disagree with your views of the t.v. show, I think Hulk tries to teach Nick right and wrong, in fact he wouldn’t let Nick get his license until his grades improved and he also took him to the local Highway Patrol and made him watch films showing real accidents with real dead bodies. You can only do so much as a parent then just hope your kids live through the years where they think there invincible and just don’t have much commonsense. I believe Nick is a decent person with a conscience and lets hope he dosen,t have to live with killing his friend.

My prayers go out to john. Nick’s recklesness however was the cause of this. WIth God’s help John will recover and Nick will pay for it.

i’m not surprised this happened. people want to blame terry and linda but i have a brother who is so strict with his 2 sons and guess what their always in trouble with the law (car racing),,my brother takes the cars away, grounds them etc… and then go out and do it again! so i don’t know if i could agree with alot of people blaming terry and linda. i notices when i watch the show that their always saying were the hogans like their the best things that walked the earth, hulk is cool but linda is always acting like a big showoff and i think that’s want nick is picking up! with his fancy cars, driving fast,, look at me i’m a hogan! well now look where their at. it all comes down to showing off and linda needs to come down off her hi horse and teach her kids that money does’nt mean your the best. after all where would she be without hulk! so i don’t blame but yet i do.

Nick is 17….NOT 30! It’s time he had to act like a kid, and had rules to go by…and time for Hogan to lay down the law, like a dad.

Well said, Biker!

‘Hulk Hogan’ and his wife have absolutely no rules and guidelines for this kid to abide by. He’s a 17 yr old MINOR, and at that age a person does not have enough experience and maturity to make the best life-decisions, however, the parents obviously don’t have the sense to understand because they just sit back and allow him to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants!

They let this kid ‘get away with near murder’ (pun wasn’t intended, but does fit appropriately). Maybe this will be the reality check that Hulk and Linda need to recognize that his son is 17, not 30! And give their son some damned rules to follow!

On the other hand they’re the exact opposite with their daughter and treat her like she is 13, when in reality she is 19! Go figure.

By these actions, though, I think he demonstrates himself to be a sexis. AND with this double-standard they have re: how they treat their minor son vs. their adult daughter it’s like they’re living in the 1950’s not the 2000’s.

PS: But most importantly, I hope John fully recovers from this. Also hope the entire Hogan family learns a great deal from this entire awful situation.

I get so tired of hearing about these out of control, spoiled celebrity kids. It is time for the parents of these kids to realize that they need to instill values in their children…instead, they teach their kids that money gets you out of responsibility. Nick had 3 tickets in less than a year, one of which was for 120 in a 70. As a parent, I would immediately remove my child’s driving privileges, but not these parents…two tickets later and one horrible accident that has seriously injured another person..maybe Terry and Linda will learn that they need to be parents, not friends, and teach their kids to be responsible.

Also, where the %$#%^ is the State of Florida???? Why did this kid still have a license!!!! Three tickets in the first year, two of which could have been considered reckless driving!!!! How ridiculous!!

I hope his friend does not have to pay for this family’s carelessness.

I don’t even know how to commet. Thats great there are so many of you that are hulk fans but what about the young man, how by the way we all should be fans of the U.S.Marine? Think of him! Hope he is well!!! Priorites get them right, stop starring into all the glitz and glam of the “hulk kid”

Nick has been ignoring the law and racing around town for a long time. It was just a matter of time before something like this would happen.

He could have hit little kids crossing the street or some elderly person.

I hope and pray John recovers. I also hope Hulk Hogan will take charge, like he should have done a long time ago, and stop the drifting and send Nick back to school to get a REAL diploma, instead of a GED.

A GED is for losers that can’t make it through High School.

Even daddy’s money can’t buy a future for someone without an education.
