Is Owen Wilson Staying with a Famous Friend?

Fans and friends of Owen Wilson are holding their breath for the troubled actor as focus shifts from his attempted suicide to his recovery.

Today, there is word that the embattled funnyman may have checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and into the home of good buddy Woody Harrelson.

His people have refused to comment, but inside sources tell "Extra" that Owen may indeed be staying with Harrelson.

Just months before Owen's tragic attempt, Harrelson reportedly staged an intervention for Owen in Hawaii.

No word yet on what caused Owen to reach such a dark place, but reports suggest he was battling depression and an addiction to drugs.

However, a lawyer for Owen told "Extra" that the only drugs found in Owen's system the night of his attempted suicide were anti-depressants.

Some people forget that “stars” are human. We all have our ups and downs. Please remember that life is to live to the fullness and mistakes are to be expected that is what makes all human. Guidance,Time, and reflextion helps us all.You are loved by many you don’t know and more by the ones you do. Be positive, happy and healthy.

Hi Owen, As I sit here shaking thinking out someone going through this I want to tell you something. There are so many people who love you not just Owen the actor but Owen the person. My husband committed suicide and left me with two very distraught little boys. This was almost 15yrs ago but every single day someone who loved him is effected by this loss from this world, remember that take care of you. May God hold you close and help you remember how very special you are!!!

Mr. Wilson, I’m sorry about your situation. As someone who has been there just remember, you are far from alone in this, don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it and lean on those who care about and support you. Best of luck in your recovery.

Mr. Wilson, It may not mean much coming from someone you don’t know, I am not an intrusive kind of person but I had to tell you that you did make a difference in someone’s life, Mine. By being on the big screen. I lost my husband a few years back, Your comedies helped ease some of the pain of that loss. I just wanted you to know I would miss you if you weren’t here.

We were devastated to hear that an actor and comedian our entire family enjoys watching is going through such a hard time; Owen Wilson brings happiness into the lives of many people around the world. During your recovery may you remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I lost my mother in 1988 and she’s never met her grandchildren. We can’t take back such actions and they affect many people. Best Wishes Always.

Owen should listen to his own body and mind and decide what he needs. I dobout he’s an addict, just goofing off with the wrong people! I’ll bet the last ting he wants are drugs. I think Woody will help him get pointed in the right direction.

Owen, we have all been there and know the pain you’re going through—just remember you’re not alone. Everything happens for a reason and you turn this into a positive thing that makes you and what your life is about more meaningful than you ever could have imagined before.

Precious soul who just got a little lost out there! Yes, it happens, we know sweetheart - too much of everything and so easy to lose sight of what means a lot. And then, bam, the heartbreak. Well, what better way to bring you back to yourself and who you really are - it’s not about the glitz and glory, is it now? No, you know better, it’s about the real Owen and the real life. Take care of yourself and you’ll be fine!
