Ellen DeGeneres: 'I Want to be as Good as Merv'
Ellen DeGeneres has just released a tribute to Merv Griffin that, in traditional Merv fashion, is full of heart and laughs.
In her video blog, she says, "He was, as you know, a genius. He was brilliant. He created all kinds of amazing shows. He sang, he danced and he talked...I’m going to start singing in honor of Merv.
"I want to be as good as Merv. Merv had an amazing life…We will all miss him. When my show gets back on the air I will dedicate the whole season to Merv Griffin."

Whenever I had the chance to watch Merv I felt that I was in the company of “family”. He was kind to all…never a mean word escaped from his lips….a true gentle”man”.
He will be missed and rest assured that he is resting in the arms of Our Lord.
