PerezHilton.com is posting what is supposedly a new track by Britney Spears!

The brooding Britney appears to lament a lost love, with gloomy lyrics like, “I’m in a daze... Why did you desert me baby boy?” and “Don’t leave me in your crowd.”

The cryptic ditty is hitting the web as Britney is spotted in Los Angeles, shooting down rumors that she had fled to Belgium.

As fans wonder whether Britney will make her long-awaited comeback – and rise above what appear to be numerous personal setbacks – one Hollywood insider is weighing in.

Britney’s record producer and one-time rumored love interest J.R. Rotem sat down with “Extra” to vow that the Britney America loved will return.

“Absolutely she is coming back in a big way,” J.R. insisted.

He added, “She was just doing a ballad or something like that. I was like, ‘Wow, she really has it.’ She’s the real deal, I promise you.”

Baby Boy is not her single. It was done about 2 years ago, and it a teaser track to prepare everyone for the real single next week. Or what DJ AM said to Extra we might even get it this Friday.

The new song isnt that bad and trust me, my hearing is perfect. She just needs to focus on her kids and her comeback. Leave the poor girl alone. It’s not right to take kids from their mother, it just makes her worse and them more miserable. Take it from someone who grew up with out the other parent and just had the one. Those kids need their mother despite all this fucked up bull about takin them from her. It’s quite possible she’s bipolar, she has the symptoms. LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!!!!! Let her raise those kids in peace.

i love how everyone thinks, now that they’ve seen american idol, they think they are singing experts. britney can sing! its no mariah or whitney, but voices come in differ packages. she has a nice sultry tone, she sings the right notes, and she has the emotion behind it. get over it. if u hate her, move on.this girl has done so much good and bad and shes only 25!people need to quit believing everything they read. shes gonna comeback stronger. team britney.

Why on earth would anyone want to support much less listen to a girl who has everything and takes everything for granted. Her voice is not unique. There are so many better singers out there (plus they don’t portray themselves as trash). Out of all of Britney’s songs, I like (2). Move over bacon theres someone better

That was horrible! It sounded like an intoxicated rant , well ramble to me. She needs to pull her head out and get her act together! If any of us in the real worl were acting like her, we would have had our kids yanked away from us in a heartbeat. If Perez thinks its a good song, then he really needs to have his hearing checked. It would take a hell of a lot of mixing and overdubbing to fix that mess. Get it together Brit.

Britney’s rendition of that song was absolutely awful!! If she were at an audition for American Idol, she wouldn’t even make it to the second round. I wish she would clean up her act and get real again. What a lousy example for girls!

This song is not new. It’s from 2004. I love how most of you are so wrong about this song.
