Her comeback single, “Gimme More,” is heating up the web and confirming that those comeback rumors are true.

Britney opens her catchy new single by defiantly saying, “It’s Britney, b----,” and launching into the signature style that fans fell in love with her for.

Is Owen Wilson Staying with a Famous Friend?

Fans and friends of Owen Wilson are holding their breath for the troubled actor as focus shifts from his attempted suicide to his recovery.

Today, there is word that the embattled funnyman may have checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and into the home of good buddy Woody Harrelson.

His people have refused to comment, but inside sources tell "Extra" that Owen may indeed be staying with Harrelson.

Just months before Owen's tragic attempt, Harrelson reportedly staged an intervention for Owen in Hawaii.

No word yet on what caused Owen to reach such a dark place, but reports suggest he was battling depression and an addiction to drugs.

However, a lawyer for Owen told "Extra" that the only drugs found in Owen's system the night of his attempted suicide were anti-depressants.

Lil' Kim Busted by Cops -- and She's Not Happy About it!

Rapper and troublemaker Lil’ Kim was pulled over in New York Thursday night for driving without a license, and “Extra” was on the scene!

A visibly upset Kim, a.k.a. Kimberly Jones, had to answer to cops after she took her Lamborghini for a spin without a license or a license plate.

She argued with police officers when they pulled her over in a gas station, telling our camera, "All I can say is you’re supposed to get a ticket when you’re driving and doing something wrong. I was in the gas station, parked, getting gas."

Soon she was recognized by fans and the scene turned into an autograph session.

Before being whisked away by her lawyer, Kim took advantage of the attention, saying, “Check for my album this December.”

It’s not clear if Kim was ticketed for driving without a license.

Beckham Sidelined by Injury

After his much anticipated landing in America to play soccer, David Beckham may be down for the count.

The $250,000 man hit the turf after a hard tackle on Wednesday playing with the L.A. Galaxy, and he injured his knee.

Now Beckham will miss the rest of the season!

Becks gave Ryan Seacrest the lowdown on his injury this morning, explaining, "It's a strain in my ligament, so it's at least eight to 10 weeks out, which takes me to the end of the season."

Tom Cruise Silences Critics of Controversial New Film

Tom Cruise is finally responding to criticism over his controversial role as a German colonel in the movie "Valkyrie."

Tom told a German magazine, "All I can say is, save your comments until you see the movie."

Tom has come under fire from German politicians and fans who disapprove of Tom playing one of their country's greatest heroes. There has been speculation that part of the controversy stemmed from Tom's belief in Scientology, which is reportedly considered a cult in Germany.

Man in Tom Cruise Extortion Plot Cops Plea

Last July, David Hans Schmidt was arrested for trying to extort $1 million from Tom Cruise for stolen photos of his wedding to Katie Holmes.

"Extra" has obtained court papers in which Schmidt has agreed to enter into a plea agreement. In the papers, Schmidt "gives up the right to indictment by a grand jury and agrees to plead guilty to a single-count."

He's pleading guilty to one count of transmitting threatening communications with the intent to extort. When sentenced, he will face up to two years in prison, one year of supervised release and a substantial monetary fine.

His reps won't comment, but rumors are swirling that Owen may have left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a treatment facility.

As Owen, friends and family focus on treatment, a firestorm is raging between Courtney Love and British actor and alleged partier Steve Coogan.

Last month "Extra" broke Britney music video news and sources tell us that the video being shot at the time was indeed for "Gimme More." Photos from the video shoot surfaced of Britney on a stripper pole in torn fishnet stockings and short shorts.
