'Ugly Betty' Cast Celebrates Emmy Nods, Co-Star Rebecca Romijn's Wedding

Thursday marked a beautiful day for America Ferrera and the cast of “Ugly Betty,” who not only celebrity their Emmy nominations, but also co-star Rebecca Romijn’s recent wedding to Jerry O’Connell.

“Gorgeous, beautiful, wonderful people,” Ferrera said. “I love to see such real people find each other.”

Vanessa Williams and Salma Hayek also received nominations Thursday, and they revealed that America is hungry for a British invasion… as in a Victoria Beckham guest star appearance on “Ugly Betty.”

”She would fit in perfectly in that fashion world,” said “Ugly Betty’s” Judith Light. “There's no one too big for our show, really.”

Meanwhile, “Heroes” star Masi Oka rejoiced with his fellow cast members after their show received its first Emmy nod.

The actor, who is also up for Best Supporting Actor, said the best part of the morning was breaking the news to his mother. “I could hear her crying on the other side,” he told us.

For nominee Kyra Sedgwick, this morning’s nomination only topped the cake of her already picture perfect life with husband Kevin Bacon.

“He said, ‘You’ve already won,’” Kyra revealed. “It’s the greatest thing.”

The Emmys are served up September 16th.

Vanessa Williams definetly should win. She was simply amazing this season as Wilehelmina.

The best actress award should go to Vanessa Williams. She deserves it.

Her acting is remarkable and the looks ### wow… that is something…

Vanessa Williams should be winning the award for best actress category as her performance is excellent.

But I wonder knowing this film industry if such an honor will be given to Vanessa. She totally deserve it. Her role as Wiemina, is plyade so well. Just like Joan Collins in Dynasty, she keeps this show going.

Wow they deserve it! It’s such a fun and fresh show. I think I love Vanessa Williams character the best. She’s pleasantly B#tchy! (The looks she gives and the things she does with her face are priceless!) A sort of new and improved Joan Collins. But the show as a whole is great! Betty is such a sweet neard. And she needs to go ahead and hook up with the accounting guy!
