Barbara to Fill Two 'View' Spots: 'We Will Know by the End of July'

Barbara Walters is breaking news to “Extra,” revealing that she wants two co-hosts to fill Rosie O’Donnell’s spot!

“We need two people,” Barbara said, one for Rosie and another for the long-gone Star Jones.

And the announcement could come any time!

“We will probably know by the end of July,” Barbara revealed.

Today, “Extra” learned that comedienne Kathy Griffin is in the running – and so is a Trump!

Arch-rival Donald’s daughter Ivanka is in talks to take Rosie’s seat.

The Donald told us, “She's brilliant! She's got the gift of gab, and she would do great, but I don't see it.”

But Ivanka said she won’t be taking a seat on the show, telling Fox News, “I am not joining the show.”

Rosie has been quiet in recent weeks, but "Extra" can reveal she hasn’t fallen off the radar.

The outspoken talk queen just blogged that she’s on a cruise with her family, and she's taking aim at her former co-host.

Us Weekly reports Rosie couldn’t resist taking a jab at former friend Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

During her stand-up routine on the ship, Rosie reportedly quipped, “Go have your baby and have a nice life.”

Now she’s sounding off on Paula Abdul’s new reality show “Hey Paula.”

On her video blog, Rosie said to partner Kelli, “If I ever do a show like that, swear you won't let me put it on the air.”

I think natilie would be a good choice.We need someone who would be a group and not want to run the show. She would be great!

I recently watched Alexandra Wentworth on The View on 7/10. I feel she has the chemistry, intelligence and comedic tallent to be a great host on the show. She would be awesome with the other fabulous hosts.

I friend of mine showed me the episode with the audience member host Natalie and I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. She was very captivating and seemed not at all bother by the fact that she was on nation-wide T.V. I think the audience and the guests were taken back on how much of a natural she really was! Even Regis remarked on how good she was. How often is it that you stuble onto something as great as you did that day? I join the rest of these people in saying, “Bring Back Natalie”!

I agree with bringing The View back to the way it started - with normal everyday people hosting. Please don’t give us a celebrity that can’t relate to the viewers. I think Natalie was a natural when she co-hosted. She was funny & witty. I think Natalie Badolato should be one of Barbara’s choices for the View.

I definately think Sherri Sheppard should be a new co-host, and Ross “the intern” from Jay Leno, would also be very interesting!!

I completely adore Natalie! She’s shown the perfect balance with the existing team and she clearly has the gift and knack to get the job done. Would love to see someone that is genuine and believable and can make us laugh! Bring back Natalie!!!!!!

They need to get some down to earth people on this show. Bring back Natalie Badolato, she is the best cohost I have seen yet. She is real!

NATALIE!!! I watched when Natalie was on, and loved her. The View needs a down to earth gal to host, and Natalie stole our hearts the first time around. Bring her back!!
