Linsey needs real help because what has happen in the past has not worked. She has no support from family or friends. But what she has done is break the law and should be punished accordingly. Paris went to jail for less than what Linsey has done and I don’t think it would be fair if Linsey doesn’t go to jail. It’s sad that this has gone on so long and not one person has helped her. Shame on her parents and friends. Please someone help her before its to late.

Lindsay is a good person she has just gone down a bumpy hill. I know that she has let everyone down includen her self, she just hasn’t realized it yet, so just give her time and that great and smart person that we all care for and know will be back soon. Like her dad said “she is a good girl”, she just isn’t here yet.

I konw how she is going though, and it is hard but she is not just letting down her fans down she is letting down her mother and her sister who always had a hard time dealing with people at school saying that Lindsay this and that. And she got over it and now it is starting all over again. I looked up to her and she goes act like Brittany S use too. Like her dad said she is a good kid and I believe that I am just wait for her to appear.

I think she needs the MAX time in jail with no paroll. That is the only way that she will learn her lesson. Yes it will be a strong example to those other bad girls that it is time for them to grow up.They have all that money and statice and look how they act. I say lock them up like they would do the rest of us without money.

If the media, the Sports world, the powers that be in Hollywood and NY would get out of their mode of denial, STOP giving any press WHATSOEVER to them, and stop financing these delinquent criminals and those who clearly have mental illnesses, which is clearly what they would be considered if they were in any other profession, their deviant/criminal behaviour would stop. It is as simple as that.
I for one am sick to death of hearing about them and change the channel whenever shows such as EXTRA run yet another story about their DUIs, drug possession, breakdowns, etc.

She definitely needs help, not money and THIS type of fame. She also deserves to pay the price for her DUI, if that involves jail time - do it; not buying her way out of it. The path she is on with drugs and booze, her road will lead to Death not wealth and fame.

If she isn’t put in jail for a very long time it’ll just prove(AGAIN) that if you’re a celebrity you can get away with anything. Also, if you’re a person who thinks people like her and Paris don’t belong in jail you’re a very pathetic person. Lock her up for at least a year with no parole.

Well here we go again! If this was anyone else they would be in jail. Even Paris figured out if she wanted to be the “it” girl again she better do her time. But who to blame? Her mom who apparently would like to relive her childhood through her daughter. Her friends, What about her. She is an Adult haha. She made the wrong choice and now she should pay the price. Jail. Anyone else would already be in jail. My prediction is her people will say she belongs in rehab. not jail. She will prolong it hoping to avoid jailtime. Shame on the police if they can’t get a second offender, with an ankle breclet, put in jail for this. But I’m sue even as I write this excuses are already bing thought of to excuse her behaviopr. Yes the stupid girl should go to jail as she needs to learn you can’t buy your way out every time in break the law. All the stars and x-stars seem to be treated different that the general public and that does needs to change.

I feel for Lindsay’s predicament but I also think that she has been given too many chances to get it together. An average person would not have been lucky to get the breaks that she has been given, much less have been granted the opportunity to find work as easily. I do think she needs help and should take some time out to get it (seriously). It’s obvious rehab is not helping, so perhaps some jail time would do her some good.

Does she deserve jail? OF COURSE SHE DOES! Just because she’s been in films doesn’t mean she should be immune from the laws of our country.

I am sick to death of these celebrities who get easy sentences or just “go back to rehab” to avoid jail time. PUH-LEEZE!

If it were someone like me they’d put me away so far back they’d be piping sunshine in to me…but no, Lindsay and Paris and Britney and all of the other people who are so UNFORTUNATE to have fame and tons of MONEY get an easy break.

I think that the only way that Lindsay’s going to learn to control her drinking is by going to jail. Obviously she’s not learning anything if she’s been in treatment twice and is continuing to drink. It’s one thing to go out partying with friends but she’s taking it to a new extreme. She’s not handling her fame very well at such a young age. She should get some new friends who aren’t partying as much as some of the friends that she has now. Her mom needs to do something to help her daughter get the treatment that she needs and makes sure that she isn’t drinking anymore and making sure that her daughter’s safety is first. She’s got to also think about how she’s affecting other people because someone could get hurt from a car crash that she’s in. Movie producers need to back off until she’s got her life back on track where she isn’t going to be putting her life in harm or someone else’s life in harm. The paparazzi also need to back off so she can get healthy and get back to normal.

i think that she is a young women that needs more family time and less movie star time. she needs to hang out with her family and tell them what is going on. but to come down to the matter of law she should already know how to act,drive,and not to take drugs. i mean like i am 11 years old and i know not to take drugs and not to act dumb.i think she does not need to go to jail but to take a brake from all the drama.
