Miss New Jersey Caught in Blackmail Scandal

Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo is caught in the middle of a twisted blackmail plot.

The Miss America hopeful has received two packages of photos from an unidentified sender trying to force her to give up her crown.

But the 22-year-old pageant queen insists that the pictures – taken from the online social network Facebook – show nothing scandalous.

“They’re not bad,” she maintains. “I’m a normal college girl.”

Polumbo says she has no idea who the person may be, but she could not rule out other contestants.

"It really could be anyone," she said. "And it's really disheartening to think it would be a contestant."
